@FloppyDeepDive @gamesyouloved I liked both games but I thought there were more ships to fly in Tie Fighter. Tie Defender was my favourite. I still remember the first time I cleared the Death Star trench run.

They don’t make them like this anymore… Big box, manuals, installing just to get sound working, X-Wing was the full experience on PC. And when that Star Wars intro finally hit… it felt earned. X-Wing or TIE Fighter? 👀 @gamesyouloved #StarWars #RetroGaming #PCGaming

@SCFCJosh96 We found out my wife's cancer was coeliac instead of just IBS. Definitely appreciate the honesty so we can (unfortunately) choose not to eat there. Not worth the risk after two bouts of cancer.

These posts don’t land because of all of the fraud. If Democrats really wanted to fund insulin, or anything really, they’d demand DOGE audits of all federal programs.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

The only possibility is that they stored the hash of the upcased password. So: s = hash(toupper(password)) If they had stored the plaintext password, they wouldn't be in this situation. But why don't they simply do the same thing - upcase whatever you enter, hash, and check? It would make passwords case insensitive, just as they describe.

In 1986 the US, in response to terrorist attacks by Libya, decided to give them a dose of America. Except instead of flying 1,500 miles over France and Spain, those two tongue kissers made us fly 2,700 miles around Because Western Europe has been soft and weak since 1945

@politicalmath Additionally, JM along with Firehouse changed their rewards programmes to only give you birthday rewards if you have purchased in the last 6 months. Don't care anymore.

It's funny to me what experiences cause people to abandon a brand Ten years ago, I was taking my kids to the beach. I stopped by Jersey Mike's to grab some food for the fam. They took my order but neglected to mention that they had just taken a 20 sandwich order from the guy in front of me. I had already paid. I waited for my food. I checked on my kids (still in the van). I waited. I asked how long. They said "almost". It was not almost. It took 40 minutes. My kids were crying. The entire trip was ruined. I have not been back to Jersey Mike's. I will never go back x.com/SandyofCthulhu…

It’s called Question Time. The format is supposed to be that the audience ask questions and the panel answers. Fiona is meant to moderate. Week after week, she interrupts, talks over people and aggressively pushes her own agenda. It’s becoming almost unwatchable. #bbcqt

This was filmed 13 years ago. Prescient on immigration, Truss being a lightweight, popularity of the greens. A lot in a short clip.

@chribreuer We moved back to Ireland when I was 14 from London (moved there when I was 3). Irish class was just a shit show, people acting up, no-one caring. People hated it. I just did my homework because I was too far behind after being in the UK. Never saw anyone that liked it.

Posts by Irish people about how the English killed the Irish language have a real victim mentality. Ireland has been free for 100y. They could have re-Gaelicized the country by making Irish the only language of education. The reality: most Irish people simply don’t care enough.

@PaulChato @jonkay At this point, anyone not putting some sort of non-conforming gender/sexuality on a work form is just playing the hard game. What are they going to do, test you?

@jonkay DEI has created a generation of people forced to lie just to make a living. Applying for research money is worse. No one believes this bullshit but they have to pretend.

if you’re wondering why a generation of Canadian academics has been encouraged to identify as “gender fluid” or “non-binary,” completely meaningless terms that are basically astrological signs for upper middle class neurotics, it’s because it’s the only way they can get a job
Brian Atlas@BrianAtlas

The University of Toronto is hiring a biology professor. Selection will be limited to candidates who identify as women, trans, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, and gender fluid, racialized persons/visible minorities, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities. The salary range is $138,000 to $153,000.
