@Shaebee22 Agreed. TDK is the least of our worries. The boundary hit out to Hall in the first quarter was superb. Spider was the last ruck we had who could do that. Gawn is a freak, TDK allegedly crook. I’m happy with TDK’s effort & application so far. Wins will come I believe

TDK being crook wasn't our problem. In fact, he was close to best on last week and top 3 yesterday. Worth all the pennies at this stage. He makes us better.

@desb85 I think he’s a Marvel specialist. But he needs help. Neither he, Owens or Higgins can crash packs. We either need Max King back. Or Ben King in. Pretty simple.

The bad: Brad Hill had a Riley Bonner game. Big numbers, but so many match-altering turnovers. Killed us. Sharman. Out of form. Hands terrible. Caminiti. Ripped apart by JVR. Looked lost. Phillipou. Injured (again 😳) Carroll & Keeler lack AFL-level competitive intensity.

@timrosen35 @MagpiePulse Likewise, we had a glorious run. I’m yet to see one saints supporter dispute that. We lost the game as the pies executed far better that we did. The experience for our 1-4 year players that we have plenty will be invaluable

@MagpiePulse I follow almost every Saints fan on this thing and I am yet to see one person say this. No one thinks Collingwood were favoured. They were clearly deserving winners due to their D50 holding up under immense pressure and their stars being considerably better in the big moments.

Max King gone from “end of Jan” to “chance for Opening Round” to “round 4-5” to now “front half of the season” - this smells familiar 😫

@Michael_60 @Lukethow @stkildafc Valid point. Roo did his off the bone. Liam Henry did the same tendon & given the timeline I suspect off the bone. As he is not a big name, I’d imagine it’s just listed as “Hamstring” but he certainly snapped a tendon

@RalphyHeraldSun Rail maintenance on the Alamein, Lilydale & Belgrave lines will reduce the crowd significantly. Buses replacing trains to Box Hill. Absolute stupidity of the highest order! Trips to the outer suburbs will take well over 2 hours. Imagine trying to do it with kids!

MCC and AFL estimates are still 80,000 for the Sunday night St Kilda Collingwood game which would still be the biggest crowd involving St Kilda since the 2010 GF replay. Saints are keen to prove there is a place for a Melbourne game in opening round every year

@archerroberts9 Agreed with all. I have Boxshall nosing out Garcia. Takes a good mark, has the weapons to be a gun player. The one I thought to borrow a Rossism “flint hard” & he always has been is Ronnie Byrnes. His number 1 quality is endurance & effort. Gives everything, I reckon he plays 🥧s

Good hitout that. Saw glimpses of a strong game plan. Great run & gun. Although very aware of GC’s outs. Wilson, Sharman, Ryan, Tauru, Banfield, Phillipou, TDK ✅ Garcia, Carroll, Keeler ⁉️ Hall BOG. Flanders very good too. #SaintsFooty

@rohancct @petryan Saints supporter, Peter was criminally underrated, not just a small forward but played a lot of footy as a gun midfielder. Close to my favourite opposition player to watch. Nick is a case of tall poppy, every team would love to have him. With Bont, the best mid in the game

@petryan His old man was underrated too for some reason. 97 goals in a season as a forward pocket & 76 goals as a 19 year old.

@timrosen35 I feel the coaches didn’t set up any defensive mechanisms to stop players that they would during the regular season. Hill has generally been strong when teams don’t put any work into him & the club’s game. I’m a Hill fan & have been since he arrived, needs to do it for us

@Bitey_26 Keeler is an interesting prospect. Very impressive from what I’ve seen at training, much more stronger whilst remaining athletic. He appears to be the major improver imo. But I don’t have him best 23 yet

I can’t believe it’s been a month from yesterday that I was rushed to hospital. It’s certainly been an eventful January but the love and support still pouring in has been overwhelming. 🙏 To the people that have shared their stories of having this disease and how they coped during and after has helped me immensely so I thank you. ⭐️ Im on the mend and looking forward to getting back to my normal self. To be honest it makes you appreciate so many things. I’m so happy to just get back on the beach have a walk and swim.
