Because nobody wants the freaking 3rd party marketing cookies, but they get the site paid, so they play games with you to let them include those if you are not saavy enough. Then advertising companies like Google make the browser (Chrome) and it is in their incentive to not do it and lobby the lawmakers to write the laws in the most annoying way possible.

Because any irrelevant information passed to the LLM will increase chance of errors. If one agent keeps doing everything, the amount of irrelevant stuff will grow rapidly. If it forgets irrelevant stuff, then how and how to know what is irrelevant? Unless we find some clevee way to forget irrelevant stuff errors will grow exponentially. Agents are a clever way to not include what is not relevant.

@AtSynct But since LLMs can do all of these things, why can't a single one do everything?

I’m surely being stupid. But if AI is rather unconstrained by expertise or capacity or to some extent speed Why do we need to divide tasks or departments to 9 agents ( the marketing agent, the optimization agent etc ) to each do one thing. And then another agent to manage the swarm. Cant one agent just be doing it all you know. It seems very skeuomorphic. Will we have HR agents to make sure the agent agents are being looked after ? A office canteen manager agent to feed the agents ? Seems daft

Agents are basically a synonym for memory context window. We assign model and skills and some other context to agent and with that base context we send him to do a series of tasks. Now if something else needs to be done, we switch context, same as in any other multi-tasking. It would be more costly to try to build the context from scratch every time and it would lead to errors if irrelevant stuff like skills and conversation history was present in agent’s memory as it sends the whole thing to LLM model with additional prompt. So we separate into multiple context windows that we store separately and call it agents just to anthropomorphize it.

@rushicrypto I’m afraid this one is not gonna be so great. Quite likely it can get actually pretty bad. But considering that most of us won’t be able to afford the newly monetized air, I vote for “The Mass Asphyxiation”

Mr. K F - Never Give Up 🇮🇪
Can anybody please explain to me like I'm an 8-year-old what the Irish people have done to deserve the very real potential of becoming a minority in their only rightful homeland?🇮🇪 The Irish never had an empire. The Irish went through hell for centuries - so WTF is going on?👇👇

🚨JUST IN: North Korea's nuclear-armed dictator Kim Jong Un just won parliamentary elections with 99.93% of the vote. Here's what you're NOT being told: - Voting against the candidate is considered treason, punishable by job loss, housing removal & surveillance -There is only 1 candidate per ballot. Approve or reject. That's it. - The new assembly meets March 22 to expand North Korea's nuclear arsenal and develop long-range missiles. - 70%+ of deputies were replaced to consolidate Kim's power. - Kim's sister, Kim Yo-jong, was elevated in the same week, widely seen as the regime's #2 power - This election was 2 years delayed, making it the 3rd postponement in North Korean history This is what "democracy" looks like in a country with active nuclear weapons.

We used to have 3 judge panel of one judge of the law and two judges of the people. The judge of the law presided the hearing and made sure all legal procedures were followed, but where it came to a judgement based decisions the three judges would vote. There were no juries so this scheme partly served that purpose as well. Anyway, I really think it makes a lot more sense.

You could literally be a judge without a law degree 32 states in the US allow judges to adjudicate cases without one.....no bar exam, no legal training required You’d think the bare minimum for appointing someone to hold legal power over people’s lives would be actually knowing the law Instead, these judges make rulings based on vibes, not legal expertise The criminals who are released by these judges go right back to committing crimes This is how broken the system has become

@Franc0Fernand0 Just pickup a math book and go read as many proofs by induction as you can find, after 5 or so you will understand recursion.

Recursion is one of those topics that many software engineers struggle with: - they know the textbook definition (a function that calls itself) -they have seen the Fibonacci example multiple times But when they are asked to solve a recursive problem in an interview, something doesn't work. The problem is that they don't have the correct mental models. It took me a while to figure this out. When someone explained it to me, I was able to follow recursive code, but writing it from scratch often felt like a guessing game. The turning point came when I stopped thinking of recursion as an isolated technique and began to see it as a set of patterns, each with its own structure. But to grasp the patterns, there are some basic concepts you need to have crystal clear: - base case and recursive step - how to return results from recursive functions - how to trace any recursive code (even when you're lost) - time and space complexity for recursion I explained all of them on @EngPolymathic in the article below:
ThePolymathicEng@EngPolymathic

The 164th issue of the Polymathic Engineer is out. This week, we talk about recursion: - When to use it - base case and recursive step - how to return results - tracing recursive code - time/space complexity - the six recursive patterns Link: newsletter.francofernando.com/p/mastering-re…

The problem with most people is that they have never seen real evil They are soft people who inherited good times, and assume it was always so Their concept of crime is so soft and sympathetic that they have more pity for criminals than victims. But real evil - wretched, twisted, soulless evil - is out there. If the soft people do not wake up, a small number of evil people is all that it takes to destroy vast swaths of all that is good

While the spa is not allowed to prevent it, we still have relevant federal laws. DOJ should get the very first customer with a swining dick and charge him with indecent exposure and if that dick as much as twitches with attempted sexual assualt and if there are any girls under 15 present with statutory rape. Then they should take the conviction and charge the damn Ninth Circuit as accessory to the crime.
