Lovable rewrote 42k lines of Python to Go and went from 200 servers to 10. Why? Goroutines are ~2KB on the heap vs OS threads at 1–8MB. The Go scheduler is M:N, it multiplexes goroutines onto OS threads without blocking the runtime on syscalls. When one goroutine blocks on I/O, the scheduler parks it and runs another. No GIL. No asyncio gymnastics. For 50+ parallel HTTP calls per single chat request, this isn't micro optimization, it's the only model that makes sense. Deploy time: 15min -> 3min. Request latency: -12%. The runtime just gets out of your way.
