Hossein Dehghan has replaced Ali Larijani as Secretary-General of Iran’s National Security and Defense Council.
A longtime IRGC commander and former Defense Minister, Dehghan played a key role in Iran’s military operations abroad. In the 1980s, he helped oversee IRGC activities in Lebanon that laid the foundation for Hezbollah.
He has also been linked to the 1983 Beirut barracks bombings that killed 241 U.S. Marines and 58 French troops.

This was Lebanon in the 1960s, when it was still a Christian country and known as the Paris of the Middle East.
Lebanon was created to be a Christian homeland for persecuted Christians in the region. But like naive Westerners today, it decided to be multicultural and include Muslims in the country.
Once Muslims became the majority, they started a war to overthrow the Christians who welcomed them, and the country has not known peace ever since.
Lebanon is the ultimate example that coexistence between radically different cultures is impossible.

Muscles are being flexed now in many places; waters are being tested; and democratic weaknesses are being exposed as Western peoples begin to realise what treachery they have been subjected to by their own politicians. Australia is not immune to any of this, although I suggest that it is some years behind Europe, including the UK which awaits the next pandering move and capitulation by its weak, pathetic PM and government.
Western democracies need to fully wake up or so many of them will simply cease to exist.
