Hi Harmeet, @pnjaban , I am sure you're unaware of this as you prepare to enter the DOJ Civil Rights role but someone in your firm is sending out template retainer agreements to get pardons for people your firm already said pro bono were innocent. (I do not want a pardon, I want the DOJ to do the right thing and dismiss this case.) Given your new role in the DOJ this feels like this individual is selling access to power while your out of the office – it feels very sketchy to me and my family and other lawyers who have advocated for my freedom! Your firm already asked @realDonaldTrump and the AG pro-bono to pardon me or dismiss the case, and that was only prevented because of January 6 (“J6”) derailing so many efforts, so why is this rogue attorney suddenly demanding $150,000 to say the SAME thing your firm already said PUBLICLY when the only difference is you're now in power? It feels very unethical and exactly the kind of corruption @elonmusk and @VivekGRamaswamy and so many others invested so much into rooting out.
