Done a 180 on monorepos. I now love them. Sure the experience before wasn't great, but in smaller teams with more AI and first class support in Bun, things are very different today.

Anyone else getting ridiculous memory usage warnings in Claude Code? @claudeai - this is only happening in the latest version. Looks like a memory leak.

My information consumption is now 1/4 X, 1/4 podcast interviews of the smartest practitioners, 1/4 talking to the leading AI models, and 1/4 reading old books. The opportunity cost of anything else is far too high, and rising daily.

If you configure any environment with a collection of linux commands in 2026, you've failed. Any infrastructure should be defined in auditable code, be reviewable, replayable and if it fails, you start again. It's the only safe way to do it nowadays. Don't compromise.

I’ll be honest, I have 32 mac minis. 3 more clusters like this one. Why? @jason thought my argument for local AI would be cost, but it’s much more than that. AI is becoming an extension of your brain, an exocortex. @openclaw is a huge leap towards that. It knows everything you know, it can do pretty much everything you can do. It’s personalised to you. That brings into question where this exocortex should run. who should own it? who can switch it off? I certainly won’t be trusting @sama or @DarioAmodei with my exocortex. I want to own it. I want to know if the model weights change. I don’t want my brain to be rate limited by a profit seeking corporation. “not your weights, not your brain” - @karpathy

Why I built Voice Clips 🧵 voiceclips.app I launch stuff and host Twitter Spaces every week. Once a Space is over, it’s basically lost. Good moments disappear. No real way to reuse them. I looked for tools to leverage Spaces after they end. Found nothing that felt right. So I built it for myself.
