Someone recently asked me about good travel credit cards that they can use within their bank’s ecosystem . So I thought I would put together a video with some ideas for others.

@CapitalOne clawed back points from a purchase I made. According to them, an exchange in size on the same item is considered a return. Terms and conditions don't address this. I think implying an exchange is actually a return is sneaky. Makes me not want to use them for big point purchases going forward.

Finally cancelled my Chase Sapphire Reserve because @Chase turned getting $795 of value out of the annual fee into a part-time job.

Unfortunately, I’m not in charge of the weather. It was originally a 2hr connection. Flight was delayed taking off in Glasgow which I guessed would happen the night before. I made a call to get ahead of the problem. Also I made the connection even though it was 45 mins. So that’s not even the issue. The issue is I was charged $507 instead of $106 had nothing to do with my connection.

@British_Airways @arkivelife "Booked UK → US via LHR with a 45-min connection." I'm sorry to have to say this but that is your problem. If transiting *in the same terminal* I would never book less than 2 hrs at LHR, and if changing terminals, 3 hrs. And yes, I've flown through LHR a lot.

As a travel reporter, I don’t say this lightly: my experience with @British_Airways has been a mess. Booked UK → US via LHR with a 45-min connection. Placed at the back of the plane, so I paid $106 to switch seats to make the connection. Got a “technical error” message… but was charged $507. After multiple calls, forms, and back-and-forth, BA refunded $106 and closed the case, then told Amex I changed my long-haul seats. Now having to collect even more evidence to reopen dispute. Not a great look.

So just like his previous company, will the AI get an order from me to pick a stock, substitute it for a stock I really don’t want, and triple the price. Then, sell that stock, take a tip, deposit the money on someone else’s doorstep, and then take a picture of their feet with hard skin peeling in their flip flops as confirmation of the trade, then ask for another tip? If so, does anyone have a link for a sign-up bonus and a free trial?

100% agree. Not all substances carry the same risk, and policy should reflect reality. Fentanyl and meth need zero tolerance, full stop. Cannabis and plant medicine deserve a more rational, evidence-based approach. Credit to @POTUS for stepping into a tough but necessary conversation.

Reclassification is critical so that we can have a no-tolerance rule for fentanyl and meth, which are deadly, and a reasonable policy on plant medicine and cannabis — which experts believe are far less harmful (and in therapeutic or hospice settings, might even be helpful) Give @POTUS a lot of credit for taking on this simple but controversial task
