My siblings know one thing very clearly in my house—we do not play secular music whether on their phones or on my gadgets. The moment you step into my space, you will understand that I am very intentional about what I allow around me. I don’t treat my environment casually, because I understand that what surrounds you eventually shapes you. I don’t compromise my relationship with God for friendships, family pressure, or acceptance. I love people, I respect people, but I will never place anyone above my conviction in Christ. My walk with God is not negotiable. In my house, I am very careful about what we watch, what we listen to, and what we entertain. I guard my YouTube algorithm, I guard my social media feed, and I guard the atmosphere of my home. Not everything that is popular is profitable for the spirit. If someone comes for a sleepover and it is time for prayer, they will pray with me. No awkwardness, no exceptions. Midnight prayer is not a suggestion in my house—it is part of our life. If it is Sunday, we are going to church. I don’t stay back and leave others behind. Whoever is in my house moves with me because I will not separate my family or guests from the house of God while I go to worship alone. Sunday evenings are for the Word of God and Koinonia moments. If I am streaming a service, everyone in the house will sit down and listen. It is not forced—it is a culture I have built, because I want the presence of God to be normal in my environment. I also do not follow ancestral beliefs, traditions, or practices that go against my Christian faith. I don’t mix light and darkness. My foundation is the Word of God, and anything that contradicts it has no place in my life or home. This is not about religion—it is about conviction. It is about choosing Jesus fully, not partially. It is about building a life and a home where God is truly honored. Joshua said: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15 And I have made the same decision. My house will serve the Lord. My house will honor God. My house will carry His presence. No compromise.

In 2022, my BBC team and I were travelling across the continent to popularise my podcast, Africa Daily, when we met Samuel and Esteri Tebandeke. Ester was battling kidney failure and was being treated by the excellent team at Mulago Hospital. What a powerful story of love it turned out to be. Ester needed a kidney transplant, and Sam offered to donate his. I teared up during the interview because of Sam’s deep commitment to his wife. I saw their quiet determination to ensure that Esteri — an accomplished actor who had appeared in the acclaimed film Queen of Katwe — would pull through. He loved her. She loved and deeply appreciated him. They had raised half the money they needed and were struggling to find the rest — about $40,000. I promised I would mention their case to President Museveni, whom I was due to meet a few days later. When I met Mzee, I told him about them. Without hesitation, he instructed his then PPS, Kenneth Omona, to ensure Esther received the money she needed. The cash was delivered. They travelled to India for the operation, and at first it seemed everything had gone well. I stayed in touch with them, regularly checking on Esteri’s progress. Yesterday, Sam sent me a voice note to say that his Esteri had passed away. I am gutted. Esteri was young, beautiful, and immensely talented. I wish she had lived much longer. May she now rest peacefully after such a difficult few years. I pray for Sam — one of the greatest men I have ever met. May God grant him, and Ester’s family and friends, the fortitude they need to navigate these painful times.

“Honor, is the grace that makes men to perceive you correctly, and reward you to match your true worth”. ~Apostle Joshua Selman~ Honor, isn’t sought, demanded or asked for. It’s conferred. It’s a grace, produced by how valuable a person is. Contend to be valuable.

Being a Kingdom storyteller in today’s content marketing space isn’t easy, but grace keeps us going. 🙏 This week, we celebrate a major milestone, 4 Awards from the 168 Film Festival in the US! 🏆🇺🇸 @168filmproject I’m deeply grateful to my incredible team for their spirit, resilience, and love for what we do. I know as a producer, many think I’m tough — but that’s what leadership sometimes demands. Being a business leader often means making the hard choices, prioritizing vision and excellence before comfort. And today, we celebrate because that discipline, faith, and teamwork have brought us here. A heartfelt thank you to @AngelStudiosInc for considering our project for crowdfunding. Together, we’ll take the Gospel to the world and continue impacting His Kingdom through powerful storytelling. Here’s to more grace, more wins, and more Kingdom impact! 🙌🔥 @CineLabAkademie @EunikaMedia #Filmproducer #kingdomstoryteller

Dear @Airtel_Ug, please refund that money and make commitments to fix your mobile money system. Otherwise, we haven’t started yet. The only option we will have left is to ensure that you feel the pain of losing money too, much more money. I’m sure all other victims will be happy to join the sustained campaign when it starts.
