@MUFC_Breakdown @GNev2 I don't agree that these don't add value for companies, as most switched on companies hire on character more than ability.... most university students don't have any relevance with their career and the degree they had taken.... so teaching life skills in school is key

@GNev2 It’s the same with most of the things kids should be taught in school like personal finances, credit, mental health etc it has not value to the companies they eventually go and work for

Rishi Sunak is looking to ban kids from social media until they’re 16. It’s not enforceable and it’s not realistic at all. Why do they always take the short cut. What about building a curriculum that is best in class in “Social Media” taught at schools and get kids good at it. Social Media isn’t going away and getting our children to use it properly and safely is a must. I’ve been banging on about this with our University and on other platforms for years now. Digital is at the heart of everything we do and Social media can be a positive way to demonstrate our own personalities and character. We always look at the negative consequences of it ( which do need some looking at ) but we can’t stop it. Let’s get our kids good at it and improve the communication skills of them in a smart environment.
