@supa2001 @jearl02s If it's used meaning store return they rarely have missing parts.. maybe if buying unmanifested returns it becomes a more common issue. Store returns from the likes of @bstocksol are manifested and do a good job disclosing damage such as with the packaging in my experience.

In what should be described as a miracle, we have now received 80% of the tariffs we paid the US government, with interest. What a episode in US history, from 145% tariffs to the cheating to Trump's own cabinet buying refund rights, for them to be refunded with interest. Someone personally tried to buy our refunds for 50% after the Supreme Court had already ruled... Did consumers get shafted in the process? Almost certainly. Will prices come down now that companies have received these refunds? Almost certainly not. Especially since container rates are spiking, hard, like 2022 hard. A big unpredictable mess, best play this game conservatively and never take it too seriously, but the rules change like the wind blows.

@WomanDefiner Fwiw this can be a fun hobby for a certain kind of thrillseeker with little to lose. I was friends with a guy who did it for Springer and when they leveled with the producers it was a ruse the response was "no shit, sherlock, the chairs are here for one reason."

@JackLinFLL Even weirder that the same height north-facing half is the one that seems to have made it (mostly green) and then south-facing half is almost entirely brown. Very little change to either even after a few inches of rain during all of spring vs. that much or more per wk in June.

@JackLinFLL Most of ours in Orlando haven't recovered after the hard freezes we had earlier this year. I have an absolute beast that's about 30 y/o and it's stuck at half brown even with the seabreeze going for a month now.

These poor norfolk pines take a real beating in South Florida!! Not a tree you want to be near in a lightning storm, This one looks like it already shook off past lightning strikes! Sometimes they turn into double after this. Or die.
