@bismarckanlys @davemcclure Not sure if it’s really fair to compare “India” or “China” as one country, compared to Western nations. The total addressable market for VC funding in India for example, is likely <20% of its total population, so how can the unicorn per capita be a relevant metric?

India has the third-highest number of unicorn startups worth over $1 billion, after the U.S. and China. But per capita, the unicorn distribution worldwide looks very different. Both China and India lag behind even Europe, while the U.S. is on par with Israel and Singapore.
