This is heartbreaking. In the UK, we are euthanizing perfectly healthy dogs like Daisy just because they are strays and no one has claimed them after seven days. We are meant to be a country of animal lovers. We should be ashamed. The law needs to change. Other countries have it figured out. Why can’t we?

This disease is brutal, chronic, incurable and it exclusively affects women.

Women are being erased from our own suffering.
