This is so misleading, it’s more than three flights a week sometimes it’s multiple flights a day. Laurelhurst has been there a lot longer than the hospital, some of those homes are generational. The host has been in continuous expansion mode for years, construction noise trucks beeping cranes etc.. So much more to this story than this post.

So there’s this super rich neighborhood in Seattle. Laurelhurst. They are situated next to a children’s hospital. They decided that the helicopter sound is too loud for them. The helicopters that life flight critically injured children to the hospital. So if a child needs to be taken by helicopter, the pilot has to land a mile away from the hospital. An ambulance will be there to take the child the remaining distance. This is to ensure that the super rich people don’t have to hear helicopters.

Thoughts and prayers for the families and friends of two murdered teenagers today in Seattle’s Rainier Beach Neighborhood. This area has been a hot spot for gun violence for decades. By and large the majority of the community have advocated for more cameras like @Flock_Safety for years. I was disappointed in a recent District 2 community safety meeting led by new Councilman Eddie Lin that he would advocate to not just take cameras down but stop further installation.
