C4 is a commercial tv station but other stations manage to position adverts during football matches without disrupting coverage

@btsispreciousss @Wimbledon Zero information. We’ve been here since 930am. Now 4pm + only now moved into another area but at least this has food available for purchase+ screen with centre court. Last 1.5 hrs were in a queue past the old golf course with no infot all. Lot of cranky ppl. App useless

Not the best experience so far at @Wimbledon on The Queue. No information being given to anyone. No entertainment along the line. We’ve been moved to a holding place with no bathrooms, no food , no nothing and no information. We’d have been better off staying in the 1st field

@On_the_Rug @umpire_chair They have an area for people with mobility issues beside the area where you buy the tickets, you are given a queue card like everyone else but wait there until your turn in the queue. It’s well organised & in the shade.

@umpire_chair hi I have a ticket for Wimbledon tomorrow but my sister doesn’t. I am thinking of queuing for her as she has some mobility issues. Would she be able to take my place in the queue as it got closer to the front?

People had no idea where to go when their line was moved. Lines merged and it became chaotic. Once we got through the arch we walked to ticket sales in minutes, Security was very quick too.

@umpire_chair @ViewFromTheQ @BurringLiam @streck_van15577 We arrived just before 6.30 yesterday. Earliest we have ever got there, not in until 12.50, latest we’ve ever got in. Lack of urgency to get people in for start of play. Feels like the paying public are their lowest priority, less queue staffing, no separate security so slow.

Well done to the young stewards who took control and got the queue in order again. Maybe give them the megaphone not the stickers!

@ian_sanders28 We joined just after 7.30am our queue number was 11041 and we got in at just after 3pm

@Nikinakinoonooo @AmineDBugz @Wimbledon @ViewFromTheQ Same today, very few of the older experienced stewards around. Those who were just walking around aimlessly. Some of the younger ones were the ones who sorted out the queue in the end. Not the @Wimbledon way at all.

@AmineDBugz @Wimbledon @ViewFromTheQ The problem was in the park, once we got through to the golf course part of the queue we walked to the ticket office in 10 minutes. I’ve been lots over the years and today was dreadful. Security was very slick. @Wimbledon

The problem was the organisation of the queue, lack of stewards and those who were there were just wandering around. It was some of the youngest ones who took control in the end and sorted out the order. Total chaos

Anarchy in the #Wimbledon #queue as one line moves forward at the wrong time, causing a herd mentality as thousands form a large crowd. Stewards helpless with no megaphones. Now everyone standing with no clue as most refuse to turn round. Who said the British loved a queue again?
