I’m sick of the disinformation about the Motability scheme. Only those getting the enhanced mobility rate with PIP are entitled to lease a car through the scheme. You pay monthly & there is an upfront advance payment & additional costs for adaptations. It is not a free car.

If you feel like a shit person because you’re on benefits, you’re not. You feel that way because power needs you to - it’s a distraction from the real takers. You are alright.

This can't be said enough: Carer's Allowance, Universal Credit, PIP and legacy benefits are nowhere near enough for modern living costs. Disabled households face average extra costs of over £1,000 a month. Ignore that long enough and the human and economic costs explode.

Really fucking sucks that the government has officially made it policy across the board that chronically ill and disabled people do not deserve healthcare, food, housing or life itself. And some soft left shitlibs want the Greens to form an alliance with these scumbags

The Guardian has released a statement after Nigel Farage posted a photo of one of their photographers' press passes, implying that a photojournalist threatened his safety: "The Guardian is concerned by the recent publication on Nigel Farage’s social media pages of the professional credentials of a photographer working on behalf of the Guardian while he was working lawfully in a public space. Holding public figures to account is the role of a free press. "As part of the Guardian’s journalism covering Nigel Farage’s purchase of a £1.4m property in cash shortly after receiving a £5m personal gift, a photographer took pictures from a public path and showed his press card when asked to identify himself." theguardian.com/gnm-press-offi…

Possibly the most absurd thing about Labour welfare "reforms" is the idea that disabled people losing half their incomes should be delighted that they now have access to employment support that -They already had access to -That the DWP proudly tell us has a 97% failure rate 🙄

If these growing financial scandals involving Farage do not become resignation issues then this country is completely throwing in the towel on standards in public life.

Unless it's an emergency, governments should only be allowed to bring in legislation that was in the manifesto they were elected on. Nobody voted Labour to cut benefits and introduce a Digital ID.

Your personal reminder that Pat McFadden is the grifter who claimed £40k in taxpayer money to have a second residence closer to work. How much closer, you ask? Right next door to his existing home. Yes really. (And that rent will have increased since the article below was published a couple of years ago now)

As Health Secretary, Wes Streeting deepened the privatisation of our NHS and handed over our data to Palantir, a company involved in genocide. I am sure his friend Peter Mandelson is very proud. Time to reinstate our NHS as a fully public service — and kick Palantir out!

The DWP has literally spent over £3.5 BILLION and managed to get a whopping 3% of disabled people into work. Whilst simultaneously CUTTING Access to Work support which has resulted in far more than those 3% actually losing their jobs. So this is complete bollocks and gaslighting
