@telegram just stole my account from me 😔 I tried to backup "Saved messages" with an official API and got logged out from all devices immediately. No way to login - it asks for a code and then returns "EMAIL_NOT_ALLOWED" error. I bet they'd say it's for my own safety.

Trying deadlift for the first time today! How's my form?

This is cool

@EsotericCofe @levelsio Facebook and Google and Netflix and Uber all probably have good reasons to test this, especially since they pay $300k+/year. But then dumb people copy Google thinking "If I do the same things as Google, I can be worth $2 trillion too" while forgetting that they're not Google.

My wife and I have committed to a no-screen childhood for my daughter so far and it has been the best parenting decision that I’ve made Car rides, restaurants, church, wherever, no phones. We bring books. Coloring supplies. We rely on our own conversation or singing to engage her. At times, it takes a lot of work and effort. We as parents have to engage her way more. We also have to deal with melt downs. Can’t just use the phone as a pacifier But gosh is it worth it. She doesn’t need a screen when she’s melting down but can already tell us that she’s sad, angry, jealous, whatever When bored, she grabs books or coloring supplies on her own. She can entertain herself for upwards of an hour just sitting on the ground flipping through Dr. Seuss She doesn’t have the unhealthy, frenetic, anxious obsession with phones. The few times we might look at pictures with her, when we’re done, she just puts it down and moves on My conclusion? It’s the phones. Everything. It’s them phones. Take them away and never look back.
