I am currently losing my mind that "voor de lol" is a real phrase in Dutch that means "for fun" that is somehow completely and utterly unrelated to the English neologism "for the lolz".
I bought this book like 4 years ago and I hate it, it's so overrated
It's too high-level for actually implementing anything
Probably it's good if you're a PM and want to expand your breadth of knowledge
I don't think it's actually good for engineers
Anybody here familiar with or worked with foundation models for time series and signals?
Models like Informer, Temporal Fusion Transformer/TFT, TS2Vec, and TimeGAN.
Curious about your experiences or other models I should check out! Drop your insights below! 👇
@levelsio@uniqlo It is nothing new; even ten years ago you had a similar concept at kaiten sushi restaurants where you check out with a stack of empty plates and because of the RFID chips at the bottom they know how much/what you ate.
I tried self checkout at @Uniqlo and it was so smooth and different
Throw all your stuff in a box, it scans everything instantly via RFID, literally less than a second, no errors, tap your payment card, done!
The scanning barcodes of supermarket self-checkouts makes it unusable, the software is horrid, it starts beeping annoyingly
Supermarkets stopped innovating it at v1 and now everyone hates supermarket self checkout, as someone said in the replies 💯
I did not expect @THATBOYMMAGURU to come out as number 1⃣ UFC predictor! I thought it would be @danhardymma or @ThaWeasle but maybe being in a wheel chair heightened his other senses ;)
To keeps things simple I have only looked at predictions of UFC PPV (14 in total) main card fights. There are usually five fights on the main card; 294 had a NC between Ankalaev & Walker, 284 had a draw between Crute & Menifield and 296 had a last minute replacement of Ian Garry
Who's the top UFC prediction master of 2023? I looked at the data and I've got the winners:
🥇 @THATBOYMMAGURU averaging 71% or 3.55/5 correct predictions!
🥈 @ThaWeasle at a close 66% or 3.3/5
🥉 @danhardymma not far behind with 60% or 3.0/5
4⃣ LucasTracyMMA with 58% or 2.67/5
Went to experience the training of Dricus Du Plessis today, really cool to experience and he took the time to chat to me after, coming soon on Youtube. @dricusduplessis thanks for the time.
Uiteindelijk toch niet gegaan voor de strategische stem maar mn hart gevolgd en gestemd op @VoltNederland en specifiek op @imane_elfilali . Veel success!
Attention all engineers! 🚨 I know how important it is to continually improve your skills. That's why I wanted to share this amazing GitHub repository with you all - it contains a comprehensive guide to prompt engineering.

I tried to make websites in several ways in the past few months; @jekyllrb, automatic website generators like @canva , @MixoTeam and @webflow (need to pay at some point in the process). The simples and easiest way still is to publish a @SBootstrap site/template on @GithubPages.
