O Lugano apareceu fazendo paredão antes do treino — o mesmo Lugano que tinha chegado sem saber chutar direito. Ninguém mandou. Ninguém discursou. Ninguém fez reunião. O Rogério Ceni nunca chegou para o Cicinho e disse: "É assim que você vira jogador de São Paulo." Nunca falou nada. Só ficava lá, batendo falta, enquanto o resto do elenco ia embora. Cicinho resume com uma frase que carrega mais do que parece: "O líder é aquele que não precisa falar. Só o comportamento já dita." Você pode vender sua casa pra alguma incorporadora e com a grana comprar uma casa na Fazenda Boa Vista, morar muito mulher sem fuder a vida de quem mora numa metrópole. "Ah, mas eu quero morar aqui" Então more, mas você está gerando um custo pra Claudiane que mora no Jardim Whatever e pega 2h de ônibus pra trabalhar. Arque com isso. O que você não pode fazer é lobby pra proibir o seu vizinho de vender o imóvel dele. Você não tem direito sobre a propriedade alheia. Que é exatamente o que acontece no Pacaembu e no Jardins. As pessoas acham ofensivo a cidade requisitar áreas do tipo pra melhoria da qualidade de vida, mas acham válido o cidadão obrigar o vizinho a manter sua casa pra não ter sombra na casa dele. Só um "coletivo" pode fazer isso, o dos moradores ricos de bairros centrais da cidade? Outro coletivo não pode exercer direitos de propriedade? Que porra de sistema é esse que vocês curtem? Morei anos no Jardim Paulista, ali na alameda Lorena, e que pvta lugar maneiro. Que tanto problema existe em o jardins seguir o mesmo modelo?

O correto é ter um IPTU diferenciado nessas áreas e subsidiar transporte público. Quer morar no meio da maior metrópole do hemisfério sul? Blz. Isso gera um custo para a cidade. Arcando com isso, sem problemas.

Vai em NY, Tokyo ou Hong Kong que vc vai entender.

@levelsio Brazilians can name more US landmarks than our own. We grew up mesmerized by Woody Woodpecker at Niagara Falls not knowing Iguaçu dwarfs it. Apart from Rio, Brazil is hidden even to Brazilians. Hard to build a tourism brand when the economics never added up domestically first.

@drochetti @levelsio Spotted a regular Brazilian buffet at the Grove farmers market in LA. Nothing fancy, just your standard neighborhood “kilo” with churrasco. Lines around the corner, packed more than any other spot there. Seems like there’s genuine demand for it.

@levelsio Exactly, it’s a special occasion type of place and we don’t realize that we should export our mundane daily food, that is quite amazing. I find Mexican, Thai, Indian and Vietnamese places everywhere here in the US but barely any Brazilian restaurants.

Pieter is starting to realize how bad of a job Brazilians did exporting our food culture. All foreigners know about Brazilian food is related to all you can eat steakhouses. Although those are great, that’s not what we eat daily.

over dinner my friend & i were chatting about how insta type beauty is getting aggressively commoditized by sheer forces of capitalism. e.g. glp, botox, fillers, makeup, lasers, & surgery. just swiping your card results in +1–2σ attractiveness almost immediately. culture has also normalized this hard. e.g. kris jenner drops a new face & the overton window shifts again. & now it’s happening for dudes too with clavicular looksmaxxing. it’ll be fascinating to see how this equilibriums over time.

@dieworkwear because it's a tribute to humanity. it reminds us of what we are capable of. and just like music, art, cars and technology artifacts, it's fun and inspiring to collect them.

Can someone explain to me why anyone in Brazil would pay by pix instead of virtual phone debit card when given the choice? Coming from same account. No difference in fees or price. Both are on phone. Pix takes 10x longer than pressing one button and paying by card
