The SEC and CFTC just dropped a 68-page joint interpretation that creates, for the first time, a formal token taxonomy. Five categories. Clear lines. No ambiguity. -Digital Commodities→ not securities -Digital Collectibles (NFTs)→ not securities -Digital Tools (utility tokens)→ not securities -Payment Stablecoins→ not securities -Digital Securities (tokenized stocks, bonds) → securities This is possibly the single most important crypto legislation in years. Bullish for everyone $BTC $XRP $ADA $AVAX $HBAR etc But here’s where it gets explosive for AI. The same framework explicitly carves out “Digital Tools" and “Digital Commodities” as non-securities when their value comes from actual functionality inside a decentralized system not from the “efforts of others.” These are the exact tokens that power consensus, validation, data integrity and cryptographic proofs. The guidance stresses that blockchain systems use “cryptography and economic mechanisms to eliminate trusted intermediaries,” with built-in slashing, staking, and distributed ledger rules that enforce data integrity and prevent tampering. In plain English: the government just green-lit utility tokens that can run trust and verification infrastructure at scale without SEC registration overhead. Now layer on Chairman @ChairmanSelig response to the National AI Legislative Framework: “As AI rapidly advances, it’s critical the US promotes and unleashes innovation here at home. @POTUS’ National AI Legislative Framework is an important step… pro-innovation policies… From autonomous systems to the emerging compute markets, the CFTC will strive to secure US global financial leadership.” This AI policy is deliberately light-touch: federal preemption (one national rulebook, not 50 state ones), minimal mandated safety audits or IP rules, and a clear bet on speed over heavy regulation. AI is being treated as national infrastructure. That removes friction and supercharges deployment but it also leaves a massive, intentional gap around trust, verification, provenance, and accountability. The government isn’t filling that gap with more rules. They’re leaving it to the market. That gap is @Conste11ation runway. In a world where AI models move at lightspeed and the only “regulation” is basically “don’t blow up the economy,” the highest-value question becomes: “Can I trust this output, this dataset, this training run?” Constellation Network is built exactly for that moment. - Its Digital Evidence layer delivers cryptographic, tamper-proof provenance and verifiable chain-of-custody for data pipelines and model outputs. - The enterprise-grade Hypergraph handles the massive throughput traditional chains can’t touch. - Utility tokens and network-native assets fall squarely into the SEC/CFTC’s “Digital Tools” and “Digital Commodities” buckets—not securities—so the infrastructure can scale nationally without regulatory drag. Federal standardization + light-touch AI policy + crystal-clear token taxonomy = the perfect storm for Constellation to become the trust layer that makes AI usable at scale. The government just built the runway. Constellation is already taxiing for takeoff.

As AI rapidly advances, it's critical the US promotes and unleashes innovation here at home. @POTUS' National AI Legislative Framework is an important step in securing American leadership in the AI race. I applaud @WhiteHouse for their commitment to promoting pro-innovation policies as we usher in a new Golden Age in America. At the @CFTC, we'll continue to support these efforts by working to encourage AI in our markets. From autonomous systems to the emerging compute markets, the CFTC will strive to secure US global financial leadership in this innovative technology.

The story people like to tell about Social Security is that it's a sort of government-imposed retirement fund. Money is taken from your paycheck, put into an account, and then, when you get to a certain age, you receive payments from that account. But that's not really how it works. The money workers have taken from their incomes today goes to pay current retirees, not their own retirement years from now, like a private retirement account would. The simple truth is that Social Security isn't a retirement plan. It's a redistribution program. And if it's going to continue, there are better ways to go about it.

The White House released the National AI Policy Framework. The government is prioritizing speed, innovation, and federal standardization over heavy regulation. One aspect of AI is the cost of data centers and how this will increase electricity costs for Americans. In this new framework, the White House referenced infrastructure buildout and the Ratepayer Protection Pledge, which was dropped on March 4, 2026. The Ratepayer Protection Pledge is designed to ensure that the rapid expansion of data centers driven by AI and cloud computing does not increase electricity costs for American households and businesses.

Today, the @WhiteHouse released a commonsense National AI Policy Framework that ensures every American benefits from AI. As @POTUS has said — we need one federal AI policy, not a 50 state patchwork. This gets us there. Eager to work with Congress on this important legislation.

Jensen Huang @nvidia CEO just described the agentic revolution. Diverse AI agents hammering memory, storage & tools across disaggregated data centers. The part nobody’s talking about? How will you trust or verify all these AI agents or hold them accountable? How many tokens and how many dollars does each knowledge worker or agentic worker consume per day, and what business output do we get in return? This is where @Conste11ation comes in. Digital Evidence (now with file uploads + MCP) delivers tamper-proof chain-of-custody and verifiable integrity for every agent action. @TEMTRACE2024 turns IT into HR for your digital workforce. Tracking costs, performance, and notarizing every transaction on-chain. $DAG = TrustworthyAI

The @TEMTRACE2024 Advantage? Telecom discipline for the agentic era Jensen just described. Usage-based + distributed + vendor-driven + sprawl-prone = exactly what’s coming. Result: Full visibility. Predictable costs. Ironclad governance. Measurable ROI. Turn Jensen’s productivity explosion into controlled, defensible growth.

@altifbrown Removing friction is good for adoption but also creates a major gap around trust, verification and accountability. That gap is not being solved at the policy level; it is being left to the market.

This new AI policy removes friction to accelerate innovation, but leaves trust, verification, and data integrity as open problems for the market to solve. That opens the door for infrastructure like @Conste11ation to serve as a foundation for verifiable AI systems.

Jensen Huang just explained why every company cutting engineers over AI is asking the entirely wrong question. Huang: “People say, I don’t need software engineers because apparently coding is going to be automated.” That was the narrative. Here is what Huang actually did. Huang: “I’ve given AIs to every one of my software engineers and hardware engineers and engineers period. 100% of NVIDIA has AI assistants, AI coders, and they’re busier than ever.” Not fewer engineers. Not smaller teams. Busier than ever. That is the line most companies are getting completely wrong right now. They hear “AI can write code” and immediately start cutting headcount. Huang did the opposite. He armed everyone. Huang: “And so the question is, what is the task versus what is the job? No different than a financial analyst; the task is mess around with spreadsheets, but the job is to make financial advice. The job is to help a customer.” Writing code was always the task. It was never the job. The job is architecture. Knowing what to build. Why it matters. How it fits into a system that actually creates value. Code is the execution layer between the idea and the outcome. Nothing more. When you automate that layer, you don’t eliminate the engineer. You eliminate the bottleneck between what they can envision and what they can ship. The companies using AI to cut headcount are optimizing for cost. The companies using AI to multiply output are optimizing for territory. Nvidia chose territory. Every engineer at the most valuable semiconductor company on Earth now operates with an AI assistant. Not a pilot program. Not an experiment. Company-wide. Every function. Every team. And the result is not less work. It is more work. Faster. At a scale that was physically impossible twelve months ago. The companies that understand the difference between eliminating engineers and unleashing them will build what comes next. The ones that don’t will watch their best talent walk out the door to the ones that did.

How many tokens and how many dollars does each knowledge worker or agentic worker consume per day, and what business output do we get in return?” Get ready the next-level KPI is: Value per million tokens or Cost per successful autonomous task Which company will manage these costs? @TheUpsiderAI save this post.
