Day #4 of Marketing in Public. I tried to make a video this morning using my own voice that turned out to be 20 minutes with lots of uhm, aah so I scrapped that and wrote a script. The rest of the day I was quite active on X and Reddit and had some other duties and fell asleep later while watching Netflix so I just completed this new video minutes ago and uploaded it to ElevenLabs for a voice over. I think it turned out pretty well for someone who has never done videos before. This video walks you through setting up a personalized cold email campaign through our platform ReachVortex. Have a look yourself.

Since no one seems to know me here I'm going to post a bunch of reviews from old clients. All verifiable at TrustPilot. You will notice a trend at some point.

@thomasdatrain96 @ethanejk Get that bounce rate down! Either switch your email verifications or stop mailing to catch all addresses. It shouldn't be higher than approx 0.6%.

I send around 50-100k cold email per month. There is no reason why I can't scale to 5m per month. My TAM can definitely handle it. There are a lot of homeowners out there.

If your outreach is truly autonomous and you have the right range of services/offers you won't need an ICP anymore. The entire world becomes your ideal client.

Well that depends entirely on how it's set up. I could have a team of 10 staff, or even AI agents handling the majority of the work. When it comes to ReachVortex I literally designed it in such way that I could get a campaign up and running in two minutes. Most time would actually be spend on closing prospects and communicating with clients.

@Hartdrawss I do this quite regularly when better AI models get released. Either to make it more effective or more stable

I had to delete an entire $3,500+ codebase and start literally from scratch. not because the code was wrong but because the context was so far gone that cleaning it up would have taken longer than rebuilding. we were building an X lead generation automation internally. no documentation, no structure, just opened claude code and started prompting. felt fast at the time. but the underlying mess was so bad that i spent a full day trying to untangle it before i accepted that the fastest path forward was deleting everything and starting again. that's when i built the 4 file system. CLAUDE[.]md - my stack, conventions, folder structure, what not to touch and what needs approval. claude reads this every session. i never re-explain the entire project from scratch again. design[.]md - the actual design language. colors, spacing, component rules, tailwind classes. claude stops guessing what "clean" means and starts matching what we actually intend. components[.]md - every reusable component documented. claude pulls from what exists instead of silently building a second version of something already there. kills technical dead code before it starts. slices[.]md - the full build broken into vertical shippable pieces before a single line of code is written. one slice at a time. nothing breaks what came before. the gap between what you intended and what got built is never a prompting problem. its a documentation problem.

This week taught me a lot. I challenged myself to work from early morning to evening. Up to 10 hours of straight focused work a day. Here are my lessons: Lesson 1: More hours ≠ more output. Hour 7 and hour 2 do not produce the same quality. Not even close. Lesson 2: My best ideas came in the first 3 hours. Everything after was still wok but not sharp work at all. Lesson 3: Recovery is not optional. It is what makes the next work block usable. Skip it and you are just burning fuel with no engine left. How’d your week go?

@authorityvortex Well said about that 12-26 hour work day point brother. And definitely, the breaks are where the money is made because it allows your brain to cook up money making ideas. Are you able to grow the biz in 2-3 hours a day? If so, that's impressive

@MacdevM in my 15 years in SEO from PBN owner to guest post broker to running managed campaign I learnt one thing, and that is that people just love success stories, no matter how big or small.

It's not my problem when people don't read: "Obviously, this didn't happen. No one is moving 300 domains in a day via cold email. But it illustrates a real problem in the industry..." Actually when I first wrote it I started it with: "I just got hired by Atom as their new outbound specialist." - but AI said not a good idea since I got a UK LTD they could sue me 🤣

I just got hired by a large domain broker as their new outbound specialist. Instead of using their AI slop I decided to bring my own tools to help them sell as many domains as possible. We managed to sell 300 domains in a single afternoon. Instead of being happy, management complained that if I had used their stack we probably would've sold 1,000 of them. Right... I resigned the same day. --- Obviously, this didn't happen. No one is moving 300 domains in a day via cold email. But it illustrates a real problem in the industry...

Spam filters don't care how good your offer is. They care about your profile picture. Your first and last name. Whether you filled out every field in account setup. The stuff that takes 4 minutes. Fix that before you write a single word of copy.

BullshitBench update for GPT-5.6 and Grok 4.5 - nothing super interesting, they stayed at about the level of previous versions of the models (Grok 4.2 and GPT-5.5). Not a super good sign for 5.6, but I guess expected considering it is not a new pre-train
