The unavoidable bottom line for SCOVA is that an election starts when the booths open for voting, or when the first ballots are mailed, and no other definition of "intervening election" makes sense, given how many activities that may only happen during an election happen then.

The Reproductive Freedom Amendment that the @vademocrats want passed, will be on the ballot this November. If this passes, it will open the doors for human trafficking. It will enable traffickers to facilitate abortions for minor girls without their parents’ consent. This protects criminals and Virginia voters must vote NO in November to stop this evil. static1.squarespace.com/static/60d2018…

@CynicalPublius They see him as theirs. He didn’t apologize to J6 defendants because it was an insurrection; just to a potential assassin of a President they believe deserves it. Much more insidious.

Federal magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui publicly apologized to would-be Presidential assassin Cole Allen for him being placed on suicide watch in jail. Democrats are not outraged by this. You see, Democrats see Cole Allen the way normal people view a poor mother who steals diapers and baby formula from a looted grocery store during a natural disaster. "Yes, it's a crime, but it's not unjust and it is understandable." Democrats see Cole Allen as having tried to steal diapers.

Go Kick Rocks ( ಠ ͜ʖಠ)
The old Hoosier cupboard stood in the corner of the kitchen like a quiet witness to decades of family life. It had been willed to me alone, and when the others arrived right after the funeral with their rented dumpsters, they treated the place like a salvage yard. They called themselves helpful, but I knew better. My mother had always referred to them as seagulls…swooping in, screeching, ready to carry off anything that wasn’t nailed down. They hauled away dishes, glassware, old pots, antiques and anything that looked remotely sellable, filling that metal bin until it groaned. I let them. The cupboard itself stayed behind, too plain and heavy to interest them much. They left it standing there, emptied of its obvious contents, while they moved on to the rest of the house. Nine years have quickly passed. Life moved forward in its ordinary, relentless way. The cupboard remained in the same corner, now in my own home after I finally cleared out the last of the old place. I used it for everyday things… beautiful glassware that I collect, and antique dinnerware set . It was just furniture, sturdy and unremarkable. One quiet afternoon, while reorganizing the kitchen during a long rainy weekend, I pulled out the flour sifter to clean it. Something rattled inside the mechanism. I was extremely curious, I took the drawer completely out and ran my fingers along the underside. There, taped carefully to the hidden inner wall, was a small package wrapped in yellowed tissue. Inside lay a delicate Wedgewood plate, the kind with the soft blue figures dancing around the rim. I caught my breath. I set it aside gently and kept searching. Underneath the left breadboard, a hidden catch released with a soft click I never knew existed. A narrow door swung open behind the old spice slots…barely visible unless you knew where to press. Another few more Wedgewood pieces, a saucer this time, taped securely inside. More compartments revealed themselves as I worked…one disguised as a support brace under a drawer, another built cleverly into the back panel. Each held something precious and protected. A thick envelope. A small velvet box. The box first. Inside was the diamond ring.. my grandmother’s, the one my grandmother had worn every single day until the end. The stone caught the gray afternoon light and threw tiny rainbows across the scarred oak. The envelope held crisp bills and a folded note in her familiar handwriting… “They’ll come with a dumpster. Let the seagulls take what they want. The good stuff was never meant for them. Love you bigger than the sky.” I sat on the kitchen floor with the ring in my palm, the Wedgewood pieces arranged carefully beside me, and let the years collapse into that single moment. All this time, the cupboard had kept its secrets, waiting until I was ready…or maybe until the noise of everyone else had long faded. Outside, rain tapped steadily against the windows. Inside, the Hoosier stood solid and unchanged, full of hidden doors and quiet inheritance. I slipped the ring onto my finger, made tea in the little Wedgewood cup I’d found behind the third panel, and raised it toward the empty chair across the table. “Thanks,” I whispered. “I love you, Mom… bigger than the sky… Until we meet again. I miss you! Message received.” @KickRocks2026

I eat oysters almost every day. I know that is weird. I prefer fresh oysters from the Chesapeake bay if I can get them. When I am in a hurry I eat canned from ekone. They are not perfect as they contain sunflower oil 😢 but it’s not a large amount.

.@danturrentine Dems VA redistricting worries: “What I was told yesterday is that they now think it’s less than 50% that the court will let the certification go through. The Governor’s staff is now snipping at the Sen Maj and House Speaker that they warned them last fall this would not pass legal review.”

This is misinformation being pushed by China and Russia to slow down the US advancements in AI. Data centers use a closed loop cooling system. Once they're filled, the same water is continually used. Only a miniscule amount is lost and needs to be replaced regularly. Additionally... the amount of water used for all data centers in the country is a tiny amount of overall water usage and availability. Even if the number of data centers increased ten fold, it would still be dwarfed by other industries, like irrigating golf courses. Note the accounts that are whipping up the water use hysteria. Most are troll bot accounts, many are based outside the US, are anonymous or are using dubious sources.
