@mrlurvy I don’t think it’s about them falling out, I think it’s a treatment that is currently given to those members of the Lagos state house of assembly that were masterminded the impeachment of Obasa. The Deputy Speaker might not also return.

If not for the NDA signed, I have someone here who worked as a CCR in @MTNNG. She explained how this theft is being done, and you'll be shocked to know they have targets for this “data stealing thing.” They have a supervisor named Mukthar who is an expert at damage control whenever a customer complains about this data usage theft. Go to Opebi just before Salvation bus stop and ask for Outcess Firm I shouldn't reveal more than necessary to avoid some of their staff losing their jobs. I once dated one of their top shots too. The things I learned about @MTNNG's reckless hostility towards Nigerians is cold, but @NgComCommission should not be complacent and must always do the needful. Let's leave it here for now.

MTN wants to pay me #500,00 to take down this post💔💔‼️ Yesterday I called out MTN and how they steal data from their users The post made serious waves and a lot of small accounts and influencers with millions of followers joined me to call out MTN I just checked my DM now and saw MTN wants me to take down the post. I’m tempted to accept the money but something came to my mind If i accept this #500,000 wouldn’t I spend more that this if MTN don’t stop stealing data from Nigerians? If I accept this money I’ll be saving only myself and leaving other Nigerians to be victims of MTN’S theft @MTNNG I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR #500,000 STOP STEALING FROM NIGERIANS THAT IS ALL WE WANT!!!

Attending the World Egúnegún Festival in Ìbàdàn made me realize that we have so many Egúnegún in Yorùbá land. The one that shocked me the most is the Egúnegún Pensioner. Ọmọ, when it comes to tradition and culture, give it to Yorùbá people.

As a frequent global traveler flying in and out of Nigeria, the arrival process at MMIA used to be the one thing that instantly raised my blood pressure. Today, the entire process has been fully digitized. I cleared customs in just 3 minutes, no human interaction, no stress, and no begging from immigration officials. This is a massive win and deserves huge kudos to the PBAT @officialABAT admin! ✈️ One more 🌹 for you @fkeyamo I love good things, you should too! If you have experienced this process, please share.

BRACE UP : DARKNESS LOOMS IN LAGOS A prolonged blackout may be imminent in Lagos State following a sudden shutdown of the Egbin Power Station and a simultaneous transmission line outage. Egbin Power Station suffered a major operational disturbance, leading to a complete loss of generation. This has lead to a significant reduction in power generation currently affecting electricity supply across the country, particularly within the Lagos region. Egbin Power Station, which is the largest electricity-generating plant on the national grid and a major contributor to daily power supply in Nigeria, experienced a major operational disturbance. At approximately 8:21 p.m. on April 28, 2026, Egbin Power Station recorded a total loss of generation, dropping from about 641MW to zero output. This incident was caused by the failure of the plant’s central compressor, in addition to a malfunction of the circulating water pump system, which necessitated an immediate shutdown of all generating units to safeguard the facility.” The impact of the generation loss was compounded by a transmission constraint affecting power delivery into Lagos. Power supply to the Lagos region is currently further restricted due to the forced outage of the Osogbo–Ikeja West 330kV transmission line, thereby limiting the evacuation of available generation into the Lagos load centre.

FORCE LEADERSHIP ORDERS DISMISSAL, PROSECUTION OF OFFICERS INVOLVED IN EFFURUN SHOOTING The Nigeria Police Force hereby provides an update on the disciplinary actions taken following the fatal shooting incident of 26th April 2026 in Effurun, Delta State, which resulted in the death of Mr Mene Ogidi. Sequel to the earlier directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, all officers connected to the incident were immediately withdrawn from the Delta State Command and transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja, where they were subjected to expedited disciplinary proceedings. The Force Disciplinary Committee (FDC), alongside other internal disciplinary processes, has concluded its review. Findings established unequivocally that the principal officer, ASP Nuhu Usman, acted in gross violation of Force Order 237 and other extant regulations governing the use of firearms. His actions were unlawful, unprofessional, and a clear betrayal of the oath to protect life and uphold the law. Consequently, the FDC has recommended the immediate dismissal of ASP Nuhu Usman and other officers found culpable. The Inspector-General of Police has approved the recommendations and forwarded same to the Police Service Commission for ratification in line with due process. Upon completion of the administrative procedures, the affected officers will be handed over to the appropriate judicial authorities for prosecution for their roles in the extrajudicial shooting. The Inspector-General of Police reiterates, in the strongest terms, that the Nigeria Police Force maintains a zero-tolerance stance on extra-judicial actions and abuse of power. No uniform confers the right to take life outside the provisions of the law. Any officer who violates this fundamental principle will face the full weight of disciplinary and legal consequences. The IGP extends his deepest and most solemn condolences to the family of the deceased, Mr Mene Ogidi. He acknowledges the pain and loss suffered and assures the family that this tragic incident will not be treated lightly. The Force is fully committed to ensuring that justice is not only served but seen to be served, in a manner that reinforces public confidence and institutional accountability. Members of the public are urged to remain calm and law-abiding, as the Nigeria Police Force remains steadfast in its commitment to discipline, professionalism, and the protection of the rights and dignity of all citizens while ensuring accountability at all levels. The Untold Story Behind El-Rufai’s Non-Appointment By Dare Adelekan When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu unveiled his ministerial nominees last year, Nigerians across political divides waited eagerly to see one name on the list — Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai. His name initially appeared, creating a wave of optimism that the Renewed Hope Agenda would be anchored on competence and experience rather than political compensation. But soon enough, the tide turned. The Senate withheld his confirmation, citing a so-called “security report,” and the President quietly moved on. Yet, behind the scenes, it was clear that El-Rufai’s omission went beyond any intelligence dossier — it was political, personal, and deeply revealing of the inner workings of the Tinubu presidency. From all credible indications, President Tinubu genuinely wanted El-Rufai in his cabinet. The grapevine within the corridors of power suggested that he was being considered for the Ministry of Power and Energy — a sector that has long suffered from inefficiency and bureaucratic rot. El-Rufai’s managerial capacity and technical acumen made him an ideal fit. His track record as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under President Olusegun Obasanjo remains one of the most transformative episodes in Nigeria’s recent governance history. He turned Abuja into a disciplined, planned city, reasserting order and purpose with a rare sense of mission — all without the drama and theatrics that now characterize the present Federal Executive Council. So, what happened? Why did Tinubu, a man known for recognizing talent, abandon one of the most capable administrators Nigeria has ever produced? The answer lies in politics — the kind that thrives not on competence but on control. El-Rufai is not a man to be tamed. He is a reformer with an independent mind, one who speaks truth to power and rarely bows to political pressure. His bluntness, often mistaken for arrogance, is in reality the expression of a disciplined technocrat who detests mediocrity. He is not one to play the sycophant’s game or indulge in the kind of hero-worship that now defines Nigeria’s political elite. In simple terms, El-Rufai could not be expected to “lick anybody’s ashy hands,” to borrow the street phrase making the rounds in political circles. Those who know him also know he takes no nonsense. He thrives on merit, not manipulation. He does not need presidential favor to perform; he needs only a clear mandate and the freedom to execute. And therein lies the problem. Tinubu’s inner circle — a mixture of loyalists, praise-singers, and political courtiers — reportedly warned that bringing El-Rufai on board could “destabilize” the hierarchy of loyalty around the President. They argued that El-Rufai was too independent, too strong-willed, too cerebral to fit into a system that values submission over substance. Hence, the convenient narrative of a “security report” was floated — a ready-made excuse to neutralize a man who would not be easily controlled. The truth, however, is that El-Rufai’s exclusion was not about national security but political insecurity. It was about protecting fragile egos in the corridors of power. In a cabinet where noise often substitutes for performance, and where some ministers mistake verbosity for vision, El-Rufai’s mere presence would have exposed the emptiness of many. It is ironic that the same qualities that make El-Rufai an asset to Nigeria are the ones that have turned him into an outsider in Tinubu’s government. He is brilliant, versatile, focused, and daring — the very traits that a reform-minded government should celebrate. Instead, the presidency seems to have chosen convenience over competence. Today, the Ministry of Power continues to grope in the dark — literally and figuratively. The Renewed Hope Agenda in that sector is still struggling to find its feet, weighed down by bureaucracy and indecision. One can only imagine what

"The lady is my baby's mom. Actually, we dated for 3 years when I was still in the country. She got pregnant for me about a month before I left for abroad Then, I was just a young man full of ambition & i didn't want a kid back then. so, I asked her to do away with it but then, she rejected my proposal even after pressuring her on several occasions, she said 'No" A actually, i had never planned on marrying her or have a baby with her. I was just age 24, still a very young man to start thinking of having a baby nor a family while still struggling. Any man in my shoes will understand this, Moreover, I had someone I was really in love & serious with, My baby's mom was angry & wouldn't talk to me after I disclosed this to her. I was just a young boy having fun like my mates. I actually didn't know she was taking our relationship that seriously. After she refused doing as i told, I left the country very angry with her & didn't talk to her for over a year. Then somehow, I found out she had my baby. I felt bad but also excited to see my child. I wanted to be in my son's life, so, I asked my parents to help me make things right with her family & they accepted my apology & allowed me into my baby's life Now, I'm sending money for my child's food & things. But my baby's mom here keeps asking for more money. I'm confused cuz she was never like this. She never bothered me for money in my humble beginnings when we were together; instead, she was very supportive. But now, I'm spending on a single baby like a man who is married with 5 children! Almost everyday is one complain to another needing financial assistance, I don't understand what's happening, but I've been so pissed off lately cuz I believe she's using my son to extort money from me. It's just 3 years gone but; she has added weight & looking so fresh & beautiful unlike the real her that i used to know. Obviously, it's cuz of the money I've been sending. i strongly believe she's been exploiting me all these time cuz she wasn't never looking like this before I left for the States,& she knows this. And as such, I've asked her to give my child to my parents, but she's insisting on keeping him, just so that she can be using my baby to steal from me. i talked to my parents & several meetings have been held on this particular issue, but she keeps being stubborn. Esther, I won't argue any further, but I want the world & my son to know, in case you try to feed him with the usual lies single mothers usually tell their child concerning their biological father. Just incase you go spreading rumors against me. I'm not a bad father & i want the world & especially my son to know in future that i tried to be in his life but your greed & st_born,nez has chased me away! I'll still be waiting, & I'm honestly giving you until this month end to reconsider and take my baby to my parents' home, and if you still don't, then fine!! Try me Esther!!! Just try me!!!"

@ugyofficial The settlement model should be modified. If the oga opens a savings account for the boy and be paying in 50k weekly into it while the account is locked and can only be unlocked by the oga. At 7% interest after 7 years, that would compound to 21m. We need to start thinking diff.

Dear @BOBBYFERAN, Paying your Dad’s gratuities, your Mum’s salary arrears, and settling obligations of every civil servant at the state and local government level in Osun is not a favour, it is a duty we will uphold regardless of the continuous hijacking of Osun Local Government funds. Osun must never return to the dark days of unpaid salaries under APC. That you are travelling home to Iwo just to vote speaks volumes. It matters greatly. Spread the word. The continuity message of IMOLE, under ACCORD must reach every corner of Osun State. #Imole2.0 #ForAGreaterOsun
