You’re right, but do you think that didn’t happen? Let me tell you something: even before the coalition fully took shape, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi had already aligned. The ship already sailed . They had an understanding on what they would do together for 2027 elections and even beyond (a succession plan). However, third-party pressure and vested interests mounted Pressure on Obi toward also contesting as a presidential candidate in 2027. His movement equally mounted pressure on him to run. I’m not speculating, I’m stating things as they are. This is Atiku’s last real chance, and he firmly believes he can win because everyone’s destiny is shaped differently. At the same time, there are powerful forces telling Obi that 2027 is already his if he’s on the ballot . That is where the problem lies.

As far as Obi is yet to make his declaration to join NDC official, I still believe there is a room for reconciliation. Atiku should reach out to him to make him see reasons to stay in the coalition. This isn't the time to play big man politics. If Obi joins ADC, there is no pathway for Atiku or anyone in the coalition. Atiku shouldn't listen to those who are saying he has a chance without Obi against Tinubu. He can't win as long as Obi is on the ballot as a separate candidate. Atiku had 25% in 21 states in 2023. There is no way he is going to get 25% in any Southern state if Obi fails to run alongside him. Most of the southern guys in the coalition are not as popular as Obi Let's assume Tinubu rigs all the states in the South, the fact remains Obi will still clear the 5 states in the South East. Atiku needs the 5 states in the SE to solve his 25% puzzle and to get enough edge to drag it out with Tinubu. Only Obi has a guaranteed bulk votes in the East. Please reach out to him and try to see if there is a room for reconciliation. Don't assume @atiku!

This gave me so much mixed feelings. The video is gruesome. He was pleading with the officers to spare his life and he will take them to the friend who sent him to deliver the package. The fear in his voice as he pleaded. His brother was also killed by the Nigerian police force in 2022. Why would you kill a suspect who wasn’t posing any threat? Why not arrest and conduct investigation and let Justice take its due course? What kind of gruesome murder is this in broad day light? Two brothers from the same family gone. This is what the Nigerian police happily say whenever they are on duty. “I will kill you and nothing will happen”. For them to have done this in public and broad daylight do you know the number of innocent people they must have killed? The Nigerian police is a big shame.

The landlord of the next building told all his tenants to move out, saying he wanted to renovate the compound. This was around late last year, so people started leaving one by one. Everyone on the street expected to see workers, cement, paint, or at least some sign of renovation. But nothing happened. After a while, new tenants started moving into the same building he claimed he wanted to renovate. No repairs anywhere, no upgrades, nothing at all. Today, I saw the landlord driving a new car. Like he bought a new car. So it became clear that “renovation” was just an excuse to push the old tenants out and bring in new ones at higher rent. Honestly, what some landlords are doing these days is not fair. The way rents are being increased anyhow is becoming too much. Can’t it be regulated?

During one of my visits to Nigeria, I ran into an old secondary school mate in the market selling yam. Life had clearly happened. We spoke for a few minutes, and he told me that since graduating, he has never secured a good job. Now he is married with two kids, just trying to survive. Before we parted ways, I gave him 200k to support him. But it got me thinking, How many graduates are out there surviving on paths they never planned for? Our government really needs to do more in creating job opportunities for young people.

UPDATE. 🔥🔥🔥 The mother of the girl has been arrested. The guy’s landlord stepped in after she constantly assaulted him while trying to force a pregnancy on him, even though evidence proves it’s not his. ​The landlord isn't backing down. He revealed his own first wife made him raise another man’s child for 8 years before he found out. He’s refusing to let "wickedness or a lack of education" ruin the guy's future. ​The case is headed to court. Hopefully, mother and daughter finally learn their lesson. 💔🥺

Na this matter we dey try settle for street now ooo😭 A guy in my area met a girl… barely 2 weeks later, she told him she was pregnant for him. Guy shock, but he still try reason am. Invited her over, asked her point blank: “Are you sure it’s mine?” She looked him straight in the eye and said: “You’re the only one.” Guy relax small. Later that night, she started acting sick… feverish and all. Man, trying to be caring, moved close to check on her. Long story short he slept with her again to top it up 😭 Next morning, they went to the hospital for proper checkup. Hospital ran tests and Doctor told them, “She’s over 5 weeks pregnant.” Silence. Guy just stood up, walked out, blocked her everywhere and went home 😭😂 Only for the Girl and her Mom to come to his house this night to force the pregnancy on the guy. As how nau🤭😂😂😂. Women go winne you. But no panic. 🤌🏻

@jon_d_doe It's no big deal, esp if the first wife left small children. The children will be better catered for if the wife's sister comes in. It may not be easy for her, but it's in the best interest of both families. The love will naturally come, as long as the man initiated the move.

My baby was 5 months old when I started noticing build up of white substance on her tongue. I was told to clean her tongue with cotton wool and warm water which I did daily but it kept getting worse. Shortly, the white substance started turning black and two days later, my daughter’s tongue was completely black. I was so scared my husband and I rushed her to the hospital. We saw a doctor who prescribed Nystatin drops for us to drop on her tongue 4 times daily. I started using it and there was slight improvement but we kept going back and forth, one day, it seems like it’s working and the next, it’s like nothing is happening. I got so worried and started crying which prompted my husband to call his mum. Mama came, met me crying and just laughed. She said the solution is the sap of a tree and we can only get the sap early in the morning before sunrise. I was so uncomfortable with the whole thing but I needed a solution. The next morning, she came with the sap and cleaned the tongue herself, and by afternoon of same day, the black lining was beginning to peel off as she sucks. I was the one that woke my husband the next day to go get the sap and by the 3rd day, my baby’s tongue was back to normal. There are traditional ways to some things, you just have to find a balance.
