This is so dumb. The 2% of the counties where roughly 50% of murders happen in the US also have around 38% of the US population. So the murder rate in big cities is mildly higher than in the rest of the country (no shock to anyone), but not massively so.

This horrible case has all over my timeline over the past couple of days. It happened in 2007. I kinda think we're doing ourselves a disservice by rehashing two-decade-old murders as it gives the impression that these things took place in an America that no longer exists, much like Emmett Till and lynching (which the left never stops reminding us about). We should never forget the victims but there's a lot that has happened since 2007, and a lot that is still happening (lynchings not being one of them).
