Codex can now use the in-app browser to test your app at different viewport sizes! It will control the device tool bar and click through your app at different breakpoints to validate & iterate. If it's a long run, Codex will take screenshots at key moments during testing and show them to you at the end of the turn, so you can verify its work. To speed up testing, Codex can hide the IAB to disable animations, and accelerate testing by 1-2x. Separately, we also made annotations send faster and consume less tokens. Is it just me or Opus 4.7 has become more stupid overtime? Deleting what it shouldn't, rewriting files that it was specifically told not to, and messing up the entire app flow when it has been explicitly given in the prompt and defined in the memory. Falsely claiming that it has completed the entire feature and then when you just simply ask a follow up saying is it complete then it says sorry its not complete, its a skeleton, its a structure or some bs. Contrastingly with codex 5.5 its like constantly running test again and again till it verifies that the actual obtained result has been obtained or not. I see a clear winner here.
