God is good if he gives you 3 kids in 4 years. He’s also good if he gives you 2 in 18 years. He’s also good if you have a bunch of babies waiting for you in heaven. He’s also good if you have no babies. God’s goodness is not based on what He does or does not do for you.

@VeiledGlory Amen and amen. He is good when we are in the valley, and He is good when we are on the mountaintop. Our position does not dictated His position, but His position should dictate our position.

Large developers like @pulte use unfair contract terms with their professional consultants. Requiring an engineer to defend you in the event of a claim is punitive. Third-Party defense is specifically excluded in Professional Liability policies, and that type of requirement could literally bankrupt a firm. Yet, because consultants need work, they sign contracts that could destroy the very thing they're trying to build. And it's not just Pulte, it's really all the large home developers. They won't negotiate, they'll just move on to the next consultant who will sign their life away, hoping nothing goes wrong.

This week has been a hard one. I’m not 100% sure my husband will have a job in a few weeks due to a divestiture at his company on Tuesday. We have all these plans of trips and purchases, and we are navigating infertility struggles as we try to heal from a miscarriage. My body is doing unexplained things. My mom’s health is declining. We are having some struggles in our business. But through it all, I’ve felt the Lord’s peace when five years ago I would have felt only panic. Instead of planning and plotting all the avenues available, I’m able to rest and trust that God’s Hand is moving, even though it feels still. He will show me when and where to move, and until then I am praying without ceasing and trying to serve my husband and our friends who may be getting laid off, and my family, as best I can. If you are so moved, would you pray that those around me in this storm also feel God’s Hand and love? I can’t do much, but He can!!

Of course, but that’s why there’s insurance. But contractual requirements that include provisions that are uninsurable are a bad partnership strategy. And many developers in the commercial space are willing to negotiate terms that are fair and honor insurance coverage and the limitations and exclusions.

@azmtnclimber @pulte I hate to say it, but with most large builder/developers, the likelihood of something going wrong is not insignificant, because they’re putting the same pressure on their subs and suppliers.

@NickJFreitas @RepJeffries Stop lying. No President of either party has tried a redistricting heist like this before. Of course, you lied about Charlie Kirk before the day was even out so what’s a political lie here are there—like your pretend care for the 2A.

@Mustangrde1 @ThrillaRilla369 And tipped workers do not receive federal minimum wage. It differs state to state. Look it up you have the whole internet at your disposal lol I live in RI. Our state tipped minimum wage is $3.89. How can you argue a point and be too lazy to even google the facts behind it 😂

Tallow is not a good moisturizer, but it does help seal moisture in. I like Tatcha's skin stick for dry spots and under eye, and the double repair from La Roche-Posay. I'm 41 with rosacea and highly reactive skin - I can't use a lot of things, but those two things (with tallow on top) are golden for me.

I have a question for protestant husbands: If your wife got into an accident and was paralyzed from the waist down, would you divorce her? Or would you continue loving her and caring for her even though you will not be able to take part in the conjugal act forever?

I notice that the anti Catholic behaviour really ramps up during important feast days. Fine. Tell me then why St. John had to take Mother Mary to his home if Jesus had full blooded siblings.
Wilfred Reilly@wil_da_beast630

The idea that a non-monastic Roman citizen just opted to never have sex with his pretty wife for 40 years, and all the people who are explicitly called Jesus' brothers were his distant cousins, is a fascinating example of dogma - a thing believed because one is supposed to believe it.

@AndrewOlding @dangainor @TheCatholicEngr It's impossible to answer if "anyone" did. And in some ways, it's immaterial. Aside from Catholic dogma, there is zero proof Mary remained a virgin, while the New Testament refers to Jesus having brothers and sisters, which would indicate she absolutely did not.

@azmtnclimber @davevivi @LMSChairman You are not saved by your faith that Mary wasn't a perpetual virgin or your faith in the rejection of Catholic doctrine either. If you have faith in Christ, you shouldn't be difficult about receiving the truths he sends you through his Church.

Here are three questions for our American Protestant brethren. To make it easier I’ll answer two of them for you. 1. How many ‘brothers’ did Joseph in Genesis have? (11) 2. How many children did his mother, Rachel, have? (2) 3. Why are these two numbers not the same?

@davevivi @LMSChairman Believing all truths is necessary to go to heaven, so yeah. If it's not important for you, why make a big fuss about it? Can you go to heaven if you have not believed that Mary is an eternal virgin during this life? Maybe, but not if you are attached to the idea that she wasn't.
