@kamer63 @FBISanFrancisco @FBIDirectorKash No different than those who were undermining other side’s successes. Very few self-examine. Additionally, this never ending cycle, regardless of which political entity is in power, has probably made many cynical. 🤷‍♀️

Since early October, the FBI has coordinated with SFPD, the DEA, and our other local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to intensify our efforts targeting narcotics activity in and around San Francisco's Tenderloin District. These collaborative efforts have resulted in a significant number of arrests and major seizures of illegal drugs. This video, created by SFPD, shows us out again this week - working together to drive down violent crime and remove deadly drugs from our streets. Our continued mission is clear: we are united, we are persistent, and we are committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe.

A lot of BS is being pushed to the scientific community in the form of dressing up inadequate design so that one can pretend to answer a question with inadequate data. Watch out.

@Codie_Sanchez I had to laugh on his comment about china’s inefficiency due centralized decision making. The amount of progress they are making on AI world is staggering, all the while we are still discussing privacy and ip protections etc. there is a price to freedom 😅

I just spent 2 hours with a guy who sold multiple AI companies for $400M and built AI systems for the Pentagon. He broke down AI's current influence and future dangers in ways I'd never heard before. Here are the 8 most important things he told me:

Still boggles my mind that we make startup employees pay taxes on their shares in a company while it’s still Monopoly money (RSUs) OR require them to buy their “options” — a stake they’ve already earned by working there — after leaving the company. So unfair for employees.

@bryan_johnson Addiction comes in many forms. You don’t think hyper focus on taking supplements, youthful appearance, etc. are addiction. Perhaps you should qualify your stmt as harmful addictions that lead to self-destruction.

Addiction makes you a prisoner. Identify that which you struggle to resist and then build rules and habits to liberate yourself.

@chrissyfarr Yes, data but likely useless one without health data and with unreliable survey data that might not be representative. I wonder if it’s previous pharma collaborations bore any fruits. 🤔

Congratulations on this detailed critique of a bad approach! (footnote: unit-randomized experiments can be found in Peirce in the 1880s; Fisher built statistical methods around randomized designs and campaigned for their use. See Stigler 1978 projecteuclid.org/journals/annal…)

@AaronGoodman33 @MulroneyCarolyn Congrats! Very long time ago, my husband opened the first bmt program in a rural northern idaho city right out of his fellowship. The patients do deserve these treatments near home; support network matters when going through risky treatments. Good luck.

@Dr_R_Kurzrock Imo they are equally harmful; with false+s, resources including human effort will be wasted & patients maybe harmed. With false-s, we may lose effective treatments becoming available and potential paths investigate further.

Lessons from Dr Emil Freireich False negative results are much more harmful than false positives. With false negatives, whole fields of inquiry may be shuttered. With false positives, others will try to replicate the data or build on it, and the false positive will be exposed.

@bryan_johnson I bet you would still have younger biological age if you ate healthy, exercised, slept well, lived purposefully life and had stress free life without any of the supplements and blood transfusions. Since you don’t have counterfactual, you will never know.
