Let no one even deceive you or tell you any other nonsense! If your last name has links to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it helps. If you are a Kennedy it helps. Obama’s girls will have doors opened because they have the right last name! If your parents made you no connects make them for yourself and your children. I make connections everyday because these things help. Go join Rotary and make meaningful connections. This nonsense of the world being fair is a fallacy! No or will make the world fair.

What made us laugh: From no where, he asked me why teachers often carry bu-bags like I carried. I told him ‘I moved with my samosas’.

Everyone loves a beautiful home! But remember not to spend 10 years of your working life building it. If you can't do it in 4, you probably can't afford it, and a small house near where you work is better than a bungalow in the village!

I’m sorry but this kind of entertainment only benefits neutrals. Give me a 1-0 win with haram ball and send me to the final @Arsenal. Anyone who wants to be entertained to go to the discotheque.

Watching Mr Frederick Mpanga doing his thing in court I am reminded of what our mother used to tell us: “Whenever you pray, don’t forget to pray for wisdom”. Listening to a fine brain, you just find yourself smiling alone! Unfortunately, fine brains increasingly have less space in the country, as mediocrity born of corruption has become a norm.

On your birthday, @mkainerugaba; release all political prisoners. The problem with Uganda is that those who imprison others have never themselves seen the inside of a jail.

The Audacity: When you’re starting out, pple despise you. When you grow and master your craft, they envy you. And when you prove that their hate has no effect on you they bme jealous. The other day I saw a failed Twitter idiot laughing at Nova mbu for organizing a UOX live debate on NBS. That same idiot was shipped to China to study medicine, failed at it , came back, and is now just floating nothing on the ground to show for it. Not even a clinic is registered in his name. Ali kuno ayasama bwasami. Meanwhile, he was mocking a man who has changed the narrative of Twitter. The Nova he was mocking has advocated for policies. Organized workshops. Championed community development campaigns. Led obituary programs. Planned tournaments. Brought disagreeing parties to agreement. The young man has done almost everything a stable, grounded leader does. How do you even find the energy to mock someone like that? UOX, you assume too much importance. Someone laughs at u and questions your initiative yet given a chance can’t do a quarter of what you’ve done, even if they gathered their entire clan. One time I saw this fool called Kojjo aka mudangalavu (a name for a village drunkard) advising Wekesa about tourism. 😳But How? It didn’t make sense. A man with no real job, struggling to feed himself, giving advice abt tourism to someone who’s been in the business for 33+ yrs , turning over close to USD 1.2 million a year. I looked at Mudanagalavu, posting nonsense and I asked , where do you get this stupid confidence? Another time, a nincompoop on Twitter was advising me on how to run a mentorship program. It was actually good advice but I asked him first: go organize a village mentorship program. Apply that knowledge there and we will talk again. Bcse riyale let’s be honest if you can’t run an LC-level program, where do u get the confidence to advise someone operating at national and international level? Busiru kikaaki obwo? Mulekere awo okwewanika Anyway saagala kulandagga… kankome awo. But my boy Nova, I am so proud of you. You are a true leader from the Tribe of Strong Men. Thank you for leading the way.

A guy picked an item from Wandegeya and dropped it for me in Ntinda as he was on his way to his home. We said thanks to each other and closed the chapter. This morning, he sent me an invoice for UGX. 80,000 for the transport of the said item (which is half a kg in weight). I drowned in my seat trying to understand what Kampala is!
