After making tough and often unpopular but necessary decisions to pull Kenya’s economy back from the brink, the dividends are here! President Ruto has announced plans to submit tax relief proposals to Parliament.
Kenyans earning KSh30,000 and below will be exempt from PAYE, a measure that will benefit about 1.5 million people.
Another 500,000 Kenyans earning up to KSh50,000 will have their PAYE rate reduced from 30% to 25%.
