@eveningxbt Combination of things. The genetic gap between the people competing at the Olympics and the people here is huge, a lot of WR holders are on PEDs already, and the effect of most PEDs isn’t what most people think. If it was strictly weightlifting I’d have a different stance.

Feeling robbed of my path to citizenship right now after grinding a PhD and contributing to foundational AI + computing technologies for the United States for the past ~ 10 years. Feels like robbing top and technologists like me of the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.
Theo - t3.gg@theo

This sucks. America should welcome greatness. Builders, innovators, and creators should have a fast path to citizenship. I can’t fathom why we would make life harder for founders starting billion dollar companies that want to anchor themselves in the US.

@DejiOkusanya @imthatdexter @babelDefi @Polymarket I get that there are shady docs helping athletes juice under the table. But I have no idea where they’re finding docs to openly help athletes do gear for this competition. It’s a complete violation of all medical ethics.

@JohnnyBCCB @steeliewheel @imthatdexter @Polymarket Did we not all just get done explaining this to you? The entire field of sport medicine exists, and a large percent of them are enhancing athlete. This is a giant industry lmao and no they certainly aren’t shunned they are paid millions of dollars per year

@steeliewheel @imthatdexter @babelDefi @Polymarket I have no doubt there are shady doctors doing this clandestinely. But I’m not sure what doctors are willing to openly help athletes juice for this competition. They would be shunned professionally.

Enhanced Games athlete in photo is James “The Missile” Magnussen. Australian swimmer with an Olympic silver medal. Said he’d “juice to the gills” if offered $1m to break 50m freestyle record of 20.88. Enhanced Games agreed. This vid of him is most viewed on its YouTube channel and top comment is incredible: “you can see his back from his front”. Absolute tank. 6’6 and will weigh ~250lbs for the swim. For the inaugural Enhanced Games this weekend, Magnussen will also wear a full-body polyurethane super swimming suit that was banned after 2008 Beijing Olympics (he’s been training and doping at a facility in LV).

@JohnnyBCCB @imthatdexter @Polymarket Shrunken testes are a choice, you can keep the gonads producing with HCG etc. bone density will go up on most steroids not down. But I do agree there’s always a trade off. Drinking alcohol is much worse for you than doing a moderate cycle of testosterone

Some of the male population needs to take steroids for various medically/therapeutically-necessary reasons, and they accept the resulting risks. That’s not the same as voluntarily fucking up your body chemistry, leading to shrunken testes, bone density issues, cardiovascular issues, skin and hair issues, etc.

@JohnnyBCCB @imthatdexter @Polymarket I think the major point I’m trying to make is that I would never support bodybuilder levels of gear. But you can see major improvements with much less, and plenty of the male population is already taking them

@imthatdexter @babelDefi @Polymarket Are there actual licensed medical doctors willing to supervise elective anabolic steroid use? That feels hard to believe — it’s likely a violation of their oaths. Perhaps they bring some doctors in from overseas, or use other types of MD-light “doctors.”

@babelDefi @JohnnyBCCB @Polymarket Not all bodybuilders use the same protocols. And honestly that much test is just pointless. There's way more to it than just running ridiculous amounts of gear.

@gamehowitzer @JohnnyBCCB @Polymarket Ok well I’m pretty familiar with the protocols used by most of the well-known bodybuilders. Obviously they all use their own protocols?

I know they’ll be on less because the doses bodybuilders take are far far beyond what would enhance your performance in a sport. They take so much because they need to stay muscular into insane leanness. Bodybuilder might take 4 grams of testosterone whereas a pro athlete would see serious gains from 300 mg

@babelDefi @Polymarket Body building on gear is a terrible idea, too. And why do you think they’ll be on less, anyway? Are there rules about how much they can be on for these games? I’m not saying we should ban or “stop” anything, but I would encourage people not to encourage these idiots.

@FaithLikeAbish2 @LargeInStature_ It’s the “intentionally make it look like you’re not wearing garments while wearing garments so you can fit in with the popular culture” that’s the problem. Leggings under skirts? Totally fine. Nude bodysuit to carefully craft the illusion of nudity? Questionable.

A nude bodysuit over your garments. That's wild ngl. I would have never thought to do something like that in a million years. I steered clear of the conversion up until now. I saw the photos. I was like, how can she possibly call that garment-friendly. Seems sus. Like those Jewish people who have all the tricks for getting around their commandments.

Antelope Hill is proud to announce our first merch collaboration. The American Partier of God patches. We are proud to have become a trusted vendor in this space and are beginning a pilot program to use our website to host merchandise for certain creators in an effort to expand our Creator Support Program. The Eviction Notice podcast and @doomernat22, (CSP discount code EV5) received a significant amount of interest in their merchandise and we assisted them in developing and improving it (it’s hook and loop now), and will act as a sales and fulfillment platform for them. Instead of giving 3rd parties outside of the scene a piece of the action or requiring the creators themselves to run fulfillment, customer service, and a web store, creators can rely on a trusted name in the space. And yes you can still use the creator support code for the discount for their merch.

@GDA360 @skuxy18 @Polymarket Professional athletes already take compounds with far less data on them so they can get around the rules. So by switching to the compounds we actually have decades of data on, they’re being safer than before

@skuxy18 @Polymarket Calling it healthier is a stretch because long term effects of many performance enhancing compounds are still unknown and no amount of “above board” changes the risks athletes take with their bodies
