🇸🇩 Ибн-Алкаттаб - بن الخطاب
A quick history lesson for you ; In 1889, the so called Ethiopian Emperor Yohannes IV was killed by Sudanese Mahdist forces during the Battle of Gallabat (Metemma).. In 1995, Meles Zenawi was a leader of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). After the fall of Mengistu, he returned from Sudan to Ethiopia with his forces, basically we choosed your president. In 2020, Ethiopia attempted to seize Al-Fashaga, but the Sudanese Armed Forces responded decisively, inflicting heavy losses in lives and military equipment on the Ethiopian army and forcing it to retreat in defeat. You picked a fight you can’t win. Lol

#Ethiopia: Interim President says dialogue under #Pretoria Agreement remains possible as #Tigray forces withdraw from Tselemti Tigray advanced forces have withdrawn from #Tselemti in what the Tigray Interim Administration described as a confidence-building measure aimed at demonstrating readiness for dialogue and a peaceful resolution to the current tensions, Interim President Lt. General #Tadesse said. “Our withdrawal shows clearly that we have no desire to return to war,” General Tadesse said, adding that “there is no question that can be answered by war, but by peace and negotiation.” Speaking on Saturday to Tigrai Television, he stressed that the situation does not have to escalate into full-scale conflict, emphasizing that dialogue remains both possible and preferable. The Interim President said Tigray’s core demands remain unchanged, centering on the return of internally displaced persons (#IDPs) and the restoration of the region’s constitutional sovereignty. General Tadesse warned that failure to resolve displacement and territorial issues could lead to renewed conflict, but said the Pretoria Agreement continues to offer a viable framework for negotiations. The remarks came amid growing public concern over escalating tensions in Tigray, including reports of recent drone strikes. At least one person was killed and another injured after a drone strike hit two trucks in the Enticho area of the Central Tigray Zone on Friday night, according to local sources. TIGRAY ― The Mekelle city administration has warned traders against deliberately raising prices of basic commodities without justification, saying punitive measures will soon be enforced. Fuel shortages and renewed rumors of a possible conflict with the federal government have triggered panic across Tigray. Authorities say some traders and businesses are exploiting the situation. #Ethiopia

@ConsciousEri @YacobMulugetta @wladHimbol Sending missiles to Eritrea doesn’t internationalize the conflict, just because it’s a separate country so that’s untrue Missiles were sent because Eritrea was hostile on the border prior and was flying in Ethiopian personnel to Asmara airport where the strikes were made &1 died

@YacobMulugetta @wladHimbol Tigray has never been food secure. Let’s not lie to push some futile political agenda. And your leaders should have thought of all of this before they decided to attack Eritrea and occupy its territory, in circumvention of international law. Take accountability for your actions.

@Tigraway_T @TribeEthiopia80 @addisstandard Let this be a warning: if the TPLF initiates conflict again, the consequences will be total territorial loss. Not only will wolkait but control of Aksum will be transferred to Fano, and Mekelle will be lost as well. The TPLF will be reduced to a guerrilla force in the bush.

#Ethiopia: Tigray interim administration says it will tolerate provocations to preserve peace and rejects territorial concessions in the name of peace The President of the #Tigray Interim Administration, Lt. Gen. Tadesse Woreda, said the regional administration remains committed to avoiding renewed conflict but will not compromise Tigray’s territorial integrity in the name of peace. “We will do everything we can to avoid war, but we will not sell any state for peace,” Lt. Gen. Tadesse said while addressing a three-day leadership forum attended by senior officials from the region, zones, and woredas over the weekend. Speaking under the theme of ensuring “the survival and security of Tigray,” the president described the region as facing “a very complicated and pressing situation,” marked by mounting internal and external risks. “Tigray is under pressure from many directions,” he said, warning that evolving political and security dynamics could further strain an already fragile environment. In May 2025, Addis Standard reported, citing a statement from his office that Lieutenant General Tadesse Woreda, revealed that roughly 40 percent of the Tigray region remained under the control of external forces. He emphasized that his administration’s top priority is to restore the region’s constitutional territorial integrity and ensure the safe return of displaced Tigrayans. addisstandard.com/?p=54081
