Two days ago, I traveled to Jodhpur for work. But from the moment I got off the train, I felt uncomfortable. A group of men, probably between 18–28, kept staring at me not just a glance, but constant, unsettling staring. Later, when I went out for dinner, it happened again. More men, the same kind of staring. I was wearing a full-sleeve shirt and loose pants nothing revealing but it didn’t matter. Their audacity made me feel exposed and vulnerable. I wanted to confront them, but I couldn’t. I froze, and I hated myself for not speaking up. That whole day felt wasted. Instead of focusing on my work, I was just trying to get through the discomfort. When I returned to Jaipur next day, it happened again. I was in an auto when a group of men in a Scorpio slowed down beside me. More staring. The number plate was from UP. This time, I felt real fear. In that moment, I made a promise to myself if I ever have a daughter, I won’t let her grow up in India feeling unsafe like this. I will do everything in my power to protect her no matter what it takes.

CM मान का alcohol test होना चाहिए और दोषी पाए जाने पर इन्हें CM पद से बर्खास्त करना चाहिए।

Why do you think Indians have so much pent up rage in them? Small arguments are leading to people being shot or killed or beaten to pulp? Traffic issues, neighbourhood squabbles, dog owners fights and even a minor birthday cake cutting incident. What is the cause for such rage, anger and frustration?

@swapnakpanda Rather than spending your time 4 years in college, best is to start working in the company as an intern and get the experience... none of the subjects matter when u enter the industry.. you have to learn under some leader and excel.

Currently in India, an engineering student has to first clear an entrance test. The entrance test carries questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Math. The students who are interested in Comp Sc or IT, why should they give entrance in Physics and Chemistry? A medical student is not asked Math in his entrance test. Then why Physics and Chemistry for a Comp Sc? Also, majority of engineering colleges teach Physics, Chemistry, Math in first year. Even Engineering Drawing. For what purpose? Other branch students are allowed to get the Comp Sc. job and hence they are learning some Comp Sc subjects apart from their own branch subjects. But a Comp Sc student is never allowed to get other Engineering jobs. Then why should he study same subjects as other Engineering students?

If you live in a high rise that should worry you. Someone has stored something highly inflammable in a residential house. This doesn't look a domestic fire. Sprinklers and building fire suppression have failed. The fire mains in the building are probably inoperative or don't exist. The fire engine pump is not powerful enough to reach the floor. No crane in sight. As @priteshlakhani posted a few days ago, run as soon as you smell fire.
