Peter Obi is presidential. His aura is out of this world. Read my pinned tweet. I described the type of 21st century president Nigeria needs. This is the perfect definition of soft power. It is time for Nigeria to reclaim its its long-lost glory & pride abroad. A healthy president in over a decade is a huge flex. An international man can & will only restore Nigeria’s global image. It’s barely 24 hours since the ADC held their party Convention, & the man already held meetings with several diplomatic missions. He met the High Commissioner of Britain. Then he found additional strength to hold meetings with the embassies of Germany, Canada, & France as well. Sometimes I wonder where he gets his energy from? For a 64-year-old, Obi is stronger than most of us. I’m impressed by his hunger & passion to move Nigeria forward. This is FDI. This is Passport Ranking. I see the president of the United States visiting Nigeria once more. This is how you market “Brand Nigeria.” You put your best foot forward! If I can follow him? YOU TOO CAN! 👏👏

African Democratic Congress
PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ADC ANNOUNCES EXPULSION OF ERRING MEMBERS FOLLOWING NATIONAL CONVENTION The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the expulsion of several members following resolutions reached at its National Convention held on April 14, 2026, in Abuja. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said the decision was taken after the adoption of a disciplinary motion against members found to have acted contrary to its constitution and values. The affected individuals have ceased to be members of the party with immediate effect and are now free to explore other political platforms, while the ADC affirmed that any party willing to receive them is at liberty to do so. The party reiterated its commitment to discipline, internal democracy, and the rule of law. The full statement read: The African Democratic Congress (ADC) wishes to inform the public that, pursuant to resolutions reached at its National Convention held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Rainbow Event Centre, Garki, Abuja, the Party has approved the expulsion of certain individuals for acts deemed inconsistent with its constitution, values, and disciplinary framework. The affected individuals are Hon. Leke Abejide, Nafiu Bala Gombe, Mr. Kingsley Temitope Ogga, Mr. Don Norman Obinna, Mr. Kennedy Odion, Mr. Clement Ehigiator, Mrs. Stella Chukwuma, Patrick Ambut, Johny Tovie Derek, Duke Dick, and Elias Adikwu. This decision followed the consideration and adoption of a motion on the discipline of erring members, duly presented and ratified by delegates at the Convention under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator David Mark, GCON, National Chairman of the Party. With this action, the affected individuals cease to be members of the African Democratic Congress with immediate effect. Consequently, they are now at liberty to explore other political platforms, and any political party that may wish to receive them is free to do so. The Party reiterates its unwavering commitment to discipline, internal democracy, and the rule of law. The ADC will continue to uphold the highest standards of accountability as it consolidates its position as a credible and viable alternative for Nigerians. Signed, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi National Publicity Secretary African Democratic Congress (ADC)

Yesterday, we witnessed yet another defining moment in our democratic journey as the ADC convention was held successfully against all odds. I must respectfully appreciate the leadership of our party, ably led by the Chairman, Distinguished Senator David Mark, whose calm and steady guidance continues to provide direction at critical moments. My gratitude equally goes to the convention organising committee led by H.E Lyle Imoke, whose diligence, sacrifice, and attention to detail ensured that this convention was not only held, but was successful in every sense of the word. To our delegates, party faithful, volunteers, and supporters across Nigeria and beyond, I thank you deeply. You have once again demonstrated that democracy thrives when the people refuse to give up on it. I sincerely thank all Nigerians who, through their resilience and unwavering belief in democracy, made this possible. Your commitment is a reminder that the power of the people remains stronger than forces that seeks to undermine it. However, now that the convention has come and gone, we must move quickly from celebration to responsibility. Nigeria is facing very serious challenges, economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and a general sense of uncertainty among our people. These issues require urgent attention, clear thinking, and decisive action. The success of this convention must therefore not end as an event; it must become a renewed commitment to building a nation that works for everyone. We must focus on offering practical solutions, strengthening our institutions, and restoring hope to millions of Nigerians. The way forward demands unity, sacrifice, and integrity. We must put Nigeria first, above personal interests, above politics, and above all forms of division. If we remain focused and committed, I believe strongly that we can build a new Nigeria that is possible, sustainable, and beneficial to all. A new Nigeria is POssible! -PO

I was delighted to join fellow party leaders and members at the historic ADC National Convention in Abuja. The convention united our great party in a single voice and unbreakable spirit — a resolute commitment to remain unbent in our collective struggle for a better, greater Nigeria. I heartily congratulate the David Mark-led National Working Committee on the successful renewal of their mandate. With this renewed confidence, I am confident that our party will march on to resounding victory in the days ahead. - RMK

🚨 ATTENTION Nigerians!: Within 24 hours of our FOI, INEC restored IREV portal which has been inaccessible for over one month! But restoration without accountability is unacceptable. @inecnigeria must explain the month-long blackout. Their silence undermines transparency, weakens trust, and raises serious concerns about election data integrity. Nigerians deserve answers, not opacity.
