just found out Udemy is doing some scammy thing where they make up a fake price for my courses and then give them a massive discount. Going to see if I can disable all their stupid 'sales' and just control it myself

@thomasbrushdev Most of my Christian friends love horror just as much as I do, but I also agree with your point. Great horror allows us to confront evil in a safe environment and I think can be instrumental in bettering ourselves

As a Christian, I’ve met a lot of fellow believers who think it’s wrong I create horror movies and games. My immediate response is I’m creating the clearest expression of what Christians believe — the world is filled with horror and demonic influence. Then they say “well at-least don’t let the evil win at the end.” Of course, even this is silly. That’s a lie — plenty of people’s stories end with evil winning. I’m not going to be dishonest

@GingerNingersh I played a bunch a couple days ago and despite getting a nice score (compared to what's on there lol) I didn't show up on the leaderboards. Turns out my data was by default set not to share, so maybe that's the problem? Hopefully I'll show up soon

So far Starship Danger has 424 users on the leaderboards. Which is crazy it keeps going up everytime I check it, do people only have iPhones these days? Becuase Android has like 12... Where are you Adroid people at?

@GreyAlien Better than the original model they had? Of course not. But considering they were very publicly bleeding money on that model, something had to change, and a transparent fee that reflects that quality of the engine I think is a fair compromise.

people suggesting to use GDScript instead of C# when it doesn't support structs or interfaces seems a little, odd I go out of my way to write performant and allocation free C# for my plugins, making heavy use of all its features, I doubt GDScript can measure up

@snowconesolid @unity Well they have to change something or they're going to go bankrupt, cancelling the plans would just put them back where they were before. I think most people don't mind paying a bit more for a service they love as long as it's transparent and fair

@unity Lol how hard is it to just cancel these plans entirely? “Making changes ” just means you’re trying everything in your power to keep the changes but reword it in a way that doesn’t sound as bad. What a story Unity.

@reduzio @joewintergreen @pineapple_works @W4Games It's impossible to do it baked into a free, open source engine because the console's code is not open source. The reason you need a third party is to pay the console developer for access to their porting tools/code. That's how I understand it anyway

@Barigamb738 I'm sure they're going to continue to trend down, but they're still close to where they were a year ago. It seems this 5% drop timing is more closely related to the CEO selling his 2000 shares. By comparison, it dropped 37% after they reported poor earnings last year
