Who else among integrated émigré(e)s nested in🇧🇪🇨🇿🇩🇪 harvesting endemic beer hi/stories for the global #anglosphere 🇬🇧🇮🇪🇺🇸🇪🇺 have ventured writing about their home biercultuur in the adopted language of their host audience? Meine alt&neuen Belgien-Beiträge, für @arsvivendi_com.

I've been a paramedic a few years now and let me tell you. Old dudes dying of a heart attach in bed with beautiful ladies, never happens. But over half of our cardiac incidents are guys wanking alone in front of a screen. Might be because of the city where I work, I guess.

Writers should not publish for free. They should not publish at all. The only acceptable form of publication for a true writer is posthumous, ideally against their own express wishes

@bartlebeer Ashbery really captures that sense of uncertainty. What’s your favorite part of his work?

Poet laureate Mark Strand was rather popular with the ladies, I’m told. After a reading one night, a woman pulled him aside and said, “Mr. Strand, I want to take you back to my hotel room and **** you all night long.” Strand eyed her a moment. “What’s in it for me?” he said.

„Die Aufklärung ist ein Ersatz für den Protestantismus, aber ein wenig exzessiv, fast zu religiös, ohne es zu wissen. Der französische Laizismus ist zu sehr das Kind der Revolution und nicht wie in Deutschland das Resultat eines Religionsfriedens.“ #KuMu #Sloterdijk21:96 🇨🇭🇳🇱🇩🇪🇫🇷

A beautiful morning here in Brussels and great meal and beer at Les Brigittines. Both the Razor Clams and the Pheasant were excellent as were the 2 Cantillon beers to accompany them.

Classic literature just isn't relatable. It is only in the recent past that authors have learned how to write in a way that appeals to contemporary readers
