I don't care how bad he was slumping, you'd never take Aaron Judge out of the lineup for this game.
So I don't understand Cal Raleigh not being in this lineup at all.

Ten being the highest score. I give it a ten. My only complaint is the pitch count limit. But I get why it’s a rule.

The great part about the WBC is that it’s on at a time when there isn’t good baseball being played. It is perfect as is. I don’t get the obsession with moving it to the All-Star Break.

Venezuela is starting a LHP, so DeRosa is going with Alex Bregman, a RHH, at 3B and Brice Turang, a LHH, at 2B.

Is "an overly confident statement" better or worse?
Scenario 1: Thought the team had clinched and the Italy game didn't matter (DeRosa said today that he misspoke but knew the game mattered).
Scenario 2: Knows the game matters. Treats it as a automatic W and says so publicly.
