People seem to struggle to zoom out a few quarters here. After yesterdays call I continue to be very optimistic long term. Dayton is one of a kind but looking at my portfolio there seems to be a general downtrend in extremely well managed microcaps-finally great use for my cash.

@evfcfaddict @Laern2splel How are you getting to that EBITDA number? Taking those revs at 30% GM for Irwin and 42% for Legacy gets me closer to 25m EBITDA.

115-120m revs for 26, 18-20m ebitda likely
~15m fcf for next year, ~20m for 28 which should mean 18€+ by then

@tracelarabee11 Mimi's rock is doing poorly and the deal M&A and amortization from '25 is creating bad comps to PY. There's a ton of value if you can get comfortable with just 5% annual organic topline growth, but Dayton said demand seems weak overall right now.

Dear new Japanese friends... May I beg an explanation of something of you? I'm sure the answer is different for everyone... but... WHY do you like us? Many places we have gone to war with, and even some of the ones we have gone to war to save... seem to hate us But our nations engaged in some of what is arguably the most horrific warfare in human history to that date, and it's not like you got space away from us or our culture afterwards to gain peace over it why don't you hate us like the Germans do? Or the french? or on most days, half of the British? I'm VERY happy about it, and grateful, but I have always wondered what the difference is I know much of it for us is "We had a problem, we settled it, now there's not a problem"... kind of the "2 dudes fight on the playground and end up best friends" thing

@yuu_yuu_to Our historical understanding in America is that Japan's disposition as of July 1945 was still that any surrender was unacceptable. The agreed upon terms were only reached in August after the atomic bombings in concert with the Soviets declaring war.

@yuu_yuu_to It is very clear from our experience in Okinawa that if Operation Olympic ever took place that many more Japanese civilians would have died in a land invasion as compared to the atomic bombings.

This is a good summary of the opportunity at Matrix Composites $MCE.AX, but really underplays the event opportunity imo. A cpl mos ago the AFR reported Advanced Innergy (AIS) was in talks to acquire/merge w/ $MCE.AX at a '100% premium'...stock was 22c at the time ie 40c implied... afr.com/street-talk/sa…

They had 30 shots on goal and allowed just 12, while outscoring the Hawks 2-0 in that span.

Looking at it basic stats-wise, Holmström definitely is underrated.
As of now on the Islanders, he is:

- 5th in goals
- 6th in assists
- 1st in plus-minus
