Pakistan is a major regional power and an important partner for the EU. Today in Islamabad, I met with Prime Minister @CMShehbaz and Deputy PM and Foreign Minister @MIshaqDar50 for talks on further strengthening EU–Pakistan ties. I also met Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir in the Army HQ in Rawalpindi. I commended Pakistan for its key role in facilitating US-Iran talks. The EU is Pakistan's largest export destination and Pakistan is the world's leading beneficiary of EU trade preferences, the GSP+.

When Shah Jahan decided to build Taj mahal, he chose Agra, built by Sikandar Lodi. He appointed architects Ustad Ahmad Lahori and Ustad Isa Khan All the workers who worked in construction of Taj Mahal were muslims—every detailing of Taj mahal has verses of Quran Muslims heritage

Mission Divyastra 2.0 was successfully conducted on May 8, 2026 from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island.

• Second full scale flight trial of MIRV equipped Agni-V completed successfully
• Payloads tested across a corridor extending beyond 3,500 km
• Single missile can now deploy 3 to 6 independently targetable warheads
• Each warhead travels to a different target independently after separation
• BDL production infrastructure already exists for Agni-V baseline
• Strategic Forces Command induction expected after this final validation
• Penetration aids and decoys also being developed alongside MIRV warheads
A single warhead missile gives enemy defences one target to intercept.
A MIRV gives them six.
