Ravindra Gupta had mortgaged his house for a ₹35 lakh loan for his friend Arun's shop, in Lucknow Ravindra Gupta passed away in 2015, and Arun was declared bankrupt as well. Now, the Revenue Department and the police have arrived to take possession of the house. Ravindra's wife, Seema Gupta, and daughter opposed it. This is how the Police treated them and an FIR has been filed against Seema Gupta and 2 others. If the loan were $3.5 billion instead of ₹35 lakh, the Gupta family would have been treated differently by the government. In fact, they would have been enjoying themselves in London, attending Harish Salve's parties. While the government writes off loans for rich individuals like Adani and Mallya, common people are harassed and treated ruthlessly. Why should the police be allowed to manhandle citizens like this?
