@KayeSteinsapir I voted against him at every opportunity yet he got our hostages out of the depths of hell and for that I will always be grateful.

For years, Democratic leaders talked about a two-state solution while avoiding the hard questions about how to actually achieve it. In a new @NYTimes piece, Sen. @ChrisVanHollen argues that the status quo adopted by the Democratic Party has failed Israelis, Palestinians, and American interests – and that Democrats must be willing to use US leverage to help end the occupation and secure equal rights and security for Israelis and Palestinians. nytimes.com/2026/05/26/opi…

Democrats have provided reflexive & unconditional support to Netanyahu & Israeli governments, even as they undermined the values we claimed to stand for.   It's time to end taxpayer-funded support & condition arms sales to end the occupation & salvage a 2-state solution. nytimes.com/2026/05/26/opi…

@USJewishDems I voted against Trump at every opportunity, but can you do me a solid and do something (anything) to address that rampant antisemitism that is taking hold of our party?

Only 24% of Jewish voters hold a favorable view of Donald Trump. A majority of Jewish voters believe Trump is antisemitic. The newest poll of Jewish voters is clear: We reject Donald Trump’s extremism, and we can and will make the difference for Democrats in the midterms. haaretz.com/us-news/2026-0…

Yeah, I'm good. Simply having a ‘D’ next to your name doesn't mean Democrats should support nominees who display Nazi symbols, mock U.S. soldiers shot by the Taliban, or publicly post about their masturbation habits. It's OK for us to have some standards.
Jesse Arm@Jesse_Leg

One possible excuse might be: The Republican is a moderate, pro-choice Trump-critic and the Democrat is a self-described communist with a Nazi tattoo.

Susan Collins is a rubber stamp for the worst admin in history. Claims that I would endorse her, implicitly or otherwise, ignore my track record supporting Democrats to take back both chambers. As I said months ago, I find Platner's Nazi tattoo and his commentary about it personally disqualifying. If it were me I'd vote for someone else in the Maine Democratic primary. Regardless of what happens in Maine, Democrats need to take back the Senate and I'll keep working hard to make it happen.

“I always said I was anti-Zionist but not antisemitic” Taryn Thomas used to join campus protests at Stanford where students called Israel’s war with Hamas a genocide. Then, she attended the Nova exhibit, and learned for the first time about what actually happened on October 7th. Now, she realizes, those protests “had already decided how the story was going to end,” before Israel even responded to the massacre. This is exactly why Free Palestine protests the Nova exhibit wherever it opens. They are afraid that if more people learn the truth, their movement will run out of support. Video Credit: GB News

In interview with @jmart, Josh Shapiro on AIPAC spending: “I think it's been used cynically by some to try and silence certain voices, to try and say that certain people participating in politics shouldn't count or should be viewed in a toxic way…. “What you are seeing is not, ‘AIPAC money’ or however it was termed, but you're getting ‘the Jews who give to that candidate who also support AIPAC.’”

@Rob_Flaherty As someone who has consistently donated to Collins' Dem challengers, I will now crawl on glass to help her if my party is stupid enough to put up the Nazi tattoo guy.

Dangerous, deadly, wrongheaded policy in Israel and the occupied territories is bigger than Trump or Netanyahu alone. As Senator @ChrisVanHollen so correctly notes, without substantial change, many more will die and families here and there will be more endangered. nytimes.com/2026/05/26/opi…

What’s always fascinating to me about positions like this from people like @ChrisVanHollen is that it ignores culpability and agency for the Palestinians for their actions and crimes (including actual genocide by their largest parliamentary party). The side that’s repeatedly said no to peace. Don’t believe me? Ask President Clinton who famously complained about Arafat walking back from a deal. If the Palestinians continue to be infantilized there will never be peace because there can never be security for either the Israelis or the Palestinians. That’s not peace. It’s murder-suicide. The path to peace is direct negotiations with consequences for those who don’t participate, walk away, or act in bad faith.

Auchincloss should be primaried. Endorsing Susan Collins is not acceptable for any elected Democrat. It's fine if he doesn't like Platner. I don't like him either but beating Susan Collins is of vital importance to our country.

They didn't rip posters of hostages in Gaza because they were Israeli, they did it because they were Jewish. That is why one of 14-year-olds Jewish girl goes missing in Toronto, they are now ripping her missing person posters down.

A deal with Hezbollah will not bring peace. The dismantling of Hezbollah will bring peace. I’m running for Congress because too many politicians treat terrorism, antisemitism, and national security like academic debates while normal people live with the consequences. I was born in Israel. I grew up in the Valley. I believe democracies have the right to defend themselves. That shouldn’t be controversial.
