Also, countries our size or bigger imports/exports to maintain balance. That's why reserves for us is important. Opening up Venezuela is big, they can produce 3-4 million daily. Canada/mexico are top imports for us.

The U.S. sits on 46 billion barrels of proved crude oil reserves, with 60% of that locked in dense underground rock.
The Permian Basin, which stretches across West Texas and southeastern New Mexico, pumps out 6.6 million barrels a day on its own, more than every OPEC country except Saudi Arabia.
Zoom out, and the U.S. is the single largest oil producer on the planet at 13.6 million barrels a day, out-producing both Russia (9.1M) and Saudi Arabia (9.3M).
On natural gas, it isn't close:
America produced a record 43.2 trillion cubic feet in 2025, roughly a quarter of the world's supply and more than Russia and Iran combined.
The U.S. sits on world-class reserves and out-produces every petrostate.

Easy to have a minimum of $40,000 when each fighter on the card is a former UFC Athlete and well known, many who were champions or title contenders. Nate Diaz,Ronda Rousey,Junior Dos Santos,Francis Ngannou. In fact a $40,000 minimum for these guys is laughable.
Try giving 40k to a newcomer with a record of 6-4 who comes in short notice and convinced 5 family members to attend and pulled in 66 PPV from his home town.
At least UFC will give this guy $12k show and $12k win, all year round.
