im looking to allocate a bunch of money right now and it is really difficult to look past btc maybe gold is the only other thing that tempts me as a high conviction long term portfolio allocation. equities feel overextended and i already have a lot of exposure there think instead of adding to equities id rather hold cash/bonds and add to btc so higher upside and downside but lower cash deploy what are you guys looking at? is there something else im missing? curious

Everyone asking if I will ever buy any meaningful amount of crypto again I sold the pico top publicly from August to October After buying the bottom in 22 Nowadays though what is interesting about crypto? Vapor? Meme vapor? We used to get excited about stuff like DeFi Where is the cool actual cutting edge tech that initially attracted me? The fast moving tech changing the world? Where is the new quality? Maybe someday I'd buy a little something high quality, but even then maybe I'd just get exposure through ETFs or whatever The best thing about being mostly done with crypto is custody I have nothing on cold wallets nothing on exchanges that could get hacked nothing on hot wallets that could get drained I'm just a turbo giga boomer with my snail mail stock exchange brokerage accounts now so if I buy back it'd be some synthetic replicated exposure probably like an etf or whatever nothing is written in stone I guess, but I doubt Id ever be massively overexposed to crypto again the way I was in the past for many years this is how the boomers live. so peaceful

Ok, here's the bottom line. We elected a President with Jewish kids, Jewish in-laws, and Jewish grandkids. He was funded by Jewish/Israeli PACs. He is now fulfilling promises. It is very possible that Bibi has the shit on DJT and has him in his pocket. These are the facts. DJT needs to go. He is losing his mind. Vance needs to be put in charge. He needs to completely pull us out of the ME. We do not need to be there. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait can go fuck themselves. This American Empire needs to shrink and redefine itself as an engine for improving the lives of Americans, not the lives of Israelis. The silver lining of this whole thing may be that the US needs to pull out of NATO, pull out of the Middle-East and let the rest of the world figure shit out. We can longer be the source of truth for the world. We need to do something very hard: Voluntarily dismantle our empire on focus on home.
