Accelerating Open Innovation: Eigen Labs ∞ Rio Network Eigen Labs is excited to announce the acquisition of the @RioRestaking team to accelerate our mission of creating an open, verifiable cloud. The Rio team has a combined 75+ years of crypto experience and a proven track record of scaling products, growing communities, and developing institutional infrastructure. This industry experience is critical as Eigen Labs continues to evolve from research to growth. To be clear, Eigen Labs is not building a Liquid Restaking Token (LRT). Instead, the code and intellectual property from Rio Network is separately being purchased by the @eigenfoundation and will be open sourced as a reference implementation in the @eigencloud ecosystem to better support new and developing LRTs.
