@afneil Am I correct in saying the following? Jan 2026 - The IMFs forecast for the UK was 1.3%. April 2026 - It was downgraded to 0.8% May 2026 - Upgraded from 0.8% to 1% But it’s still 0.3% lower than Januarys forecast.

Folks who follow me know I give very little importance to forecasts, especially from the IMF. Didn’t under the Tories, don’t under Labour. Perhaps if you stopped telling lies you’d have more than 41 followers.

Merseyside police came to my home to arrest my son through face recognition. He was accused of theft , when the police produced the picture from face recognition it was clear the perpetrator was Pakistani decent with a full beard and a very fat belly clearly nothing like my son. Woman Stabbed In Huddersfield, Four Teenage Boys Arrested. A young mother is fighting for her life in hospital after being stabbed and beaten in a horrifying daylight attack in Huddersfield. The 30 year old woman suffered serious stab wounds and devastating head and neck injuries when she was attacked in Topaz Close on Monday, May 11. West Yorkshire Police said the victim was left badly injured at the scene in what officers are treating as an attempted murder. Yesterday, Saturday 16 May, officers arrested four local teenage boys in a series of raids. A 17 year old boy from Huddersfield has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Three other teenagers, aged 18, 17 and 16, all from Huddersfield, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All four remain in custody. Kirklees CID detectives have described the assault as extremely serious and are still appealing for witnesses who may witnessed the assault. A police spokesman said: "We are continuing to investigate this dreadful incident. A woman was stabbed and sustained serious head and neck injuries. She remains in hospital where her condition is described as serious." Detectives are urging anyone with information, CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam video from the area around Topaz Close on the afternoon of Monday 11 May to come forward immediately. The four teenagers in custody have not yet been charged. The victim remains remains in hospital in a critical condition.
