This is interesting: The #Bears are planning to split their staff up into teams to debate on what they should do with the 9th pick.
“We’re going to do some cool things when we get back, kind of break into teams. One team is going to talk about [why] the tackle position is the best to go after, [why] the receiver’s the best, [why] the defensive end’s the best and use factual information to spit that out — and we’ll have a debate in terms of what’s more impactful for our football team, short-term and long-term.”

No place is safe from the threat of mass shootings in America anymore, but the reports coming out about Andy Reid and Trey Smith show how amazing they are and provide a lesson for all of us. Andy Reid took time to comfort kids at the scene during the shooting. Offensive Lineman Trey Smith was sheltered in place with many others in a closet and even comforted a child by sharing his @WWE Championship belt with him and telling him, “Hey buddy, you’re a champion. No one’s going to hurt you, man. We’ve got your back.” Andy Reid, Trey Smith, those children and everyone at that Super Bowl parade should have never been in the life threatening situation they were put in. We can all agree that mass shootings and gun violence are a problem in our country and our children shouldn’t be exposed to it. Andy Reid and Trey Smith’s immediate concern for the safety and well being of children is something all our politicians could learn from. This is not a political issue. There should be no opposing sides. Let’s work together and fix this problem. Think about the children and the America they are growing up in. We as a country have to throw away the titles of Democrats, Republicans, independents and all in between to unite and end our issues with gun violence and mass shootings. We are all protectors of something. We need our politicians to prioritize protecting our children instead of protecting their pockets.

@jmart2288 @Josh60426037 @Sanjit__T @RGIII Criminal still acquire guns. One way or another. Chicago has the most strict gun laws. Not working well there either. 🇺🇸 4% of the population is committing 90% of these crimes. Look at the numbers. TRUTH

@CollinRugg We don’t have a gun problem.
We have a mental health problem.
We have a nuclear family problem.
We have a Godless society problem.
We have a greedy politician problem.
We have a law enforcement problem.
We have an illegal immigrant problem.
We have a corrupt government problem.

⁉️🔫After every active shooter incident, the familiar phrase emerges: "We have a gun problem." Calls for "common-sense gun laws," "red flag laws," more restrictions, bans, & regulations on the 2A, and "universal background checks" resound. Are guns really the problem?
English

@RGIII These were illegal immagrant teens no real ss#. They don’t get guns by obeying laws, so this makes zero sense. Criminals don’t buy guns legally, so more gun laws won’t help stop this. Politics = laws that’s how this country works.
English

Mass shootings are not a political issue. Men, Women and Children dying from mass shootings are not a political issue. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. America is a GREAT COUNTRY. Put the politics aside, work TOGETHER and pass laws to ensure we are no longer known as the land of mass shootings.

@Rainmaker1973 If you drag it like that, it will burn you. That burn feels like being cut. Never drag the blade, in and out fast. If you did it like this you’d be burned.
