I really don’t understand this tactic from the Nuggets unless they’re just prioritizing health.
A win tomorrow would clinch the No. 3 seed and a date with Minnesota in the first round instead of Houston, but then would likely face San Antonio in the second round instead of OKC.

The award isn’t who is the best player it’s who had the best season. It’s disingenuous in the framing of his impact as the 3rd option. His movement and shooting ability is what makes this offense go. Kon’s impact on winning is being significantly downplayed here.
