btw other screening tools - prenuvo.com, previvoredge.com (for personal cancer plans, wrote a small check here even) Screening earlier than age 45 makes sense if you have: "First-degree relative (parent, sibling, or child) who had colorectal cancer, you should start screenings 10 years before the age at which they were diagnosed. ... or a personal history of inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis), hereditary syndromes like Lynch syndrome or FAP etc...

Oof another 38 year old guy diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Gents - get screened... colonoscopy, cologuard, etc. These are different times...

Finally, I have been discharged and put on blood thinners to dissolve the clot. There's still no conclusion to the cause of the clot, but that's also common (apparently 40% of the time). I am feeling much better and back to normal life. See you around ✌️

Last week, I was hospitalized. I went in thinking I had appendicitis but after some testing, doctors discovered a blood clot in my lower lungs. Though common, they are uncommon for someone my age and health. This changed my perspective on many things:
