A great resident or fellow learns to navigate uncertainty, communicate clearly, prioritize well, and balance self-care with professional duty. They take ownership, remain teachable, and design care around the individual patient. Just as importantly, they understand exactly which studies support current practice, including who was studied, what treatment was given, and what outcomes were measured. Knowledge matters, but so do reliability, judgment, humility, and the ability to connect evidence to the person in front of you.

As usually happens, hours before the ceasefire begins, Hezbollah is bombarding Israel's north to try and have a "victory" image. In some ways, Hezbollah comes out of this round as more emboldened for sure. They are still standing. They kept firing rockets at Israel this whole time, and now they can claim that Iran, their strategic partner, was able to make Israel stop its ground operation. However, at the same time it's important to remember that eventually Hezbollah is still a wounded organization. Hundreds of its fighters killed and many Shia villages in the south decimated. Its domestic position in Lebanon is significantly weakened, as it is clearly shown in the fact that the Lebanese government is having direct negotiations with Israel, and its strategic partner Iran is also significantly weakened.
