I never understood why this wasn't talked about more at the time and why it's not talked about more now. I fully understand the apprehension over another Middle East but it's strange that so many America first voices don't seem to care what Iran did to so many thousands of Americans.

Do average Americans understand just how much GWOT veterans hate Iran? Do average Americans understand that basically every GWOT veteran knows comrades in arms who were killed or maimed by Iran? Do average Americans understand that while GWOT veterans hate the idea of useless, endless wars, that most also support a rapid takedown of the Iranian regime that murdered their friends so long as the fight is led by decisive leaders who will allow us to win? Welfare systems only work in high-trust societies because constant enforcement is impossible. Once fraud becomes widespread and industrial in scale, prosecuting it case by case is a losing strategy. Years of investigations, years in court, and then the cases get thrown out anyway because of Obama and Biden judges. The only solution is to stop funding the programs being abused. No money, no fraud.
